Studi ini bertujuan menguji peran employee engagement dan kreativitas dalam memediasi pengaruh information sharing dan leader-membership exchange (LMX) terhadap kinerja karyawan Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh (Unmuha). Populasinya adalah seluruh karyawan Unmuha yang berjumlah 193 karyawan. Karyawan Unmuha adalah dosen struktural dan karyawan tenaga kependidikan yang tersebar pada masing-masing unit kerja. Tenik pengambilan sampel tersebut dinamakan teknik sensus. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner. Peralatan analisis yang digunakna adalah SEM AMOS. Hasil penelitian di Universitas Muhammadiah Aceh ini membuktikan bahwa Information Sharing dan LMX mempengaruhi Employee Engagement, Information Sharing dan LMX mempengaruhi kreativitas, Employee Engagement dan kreativitas mempengaruhi Kinerja Karyawan, Information Sharing dan LMX mempengaruhi Kinerja Karyawan, dan Employee Engagement dan Kreativitas memediasi secara parsial pengaruh Information Sharing dan LMX terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Temuan ini menjelaskan bahwa model peningkatan kinerja karyawan di Unmuha merupakan fungsi dari peningkatan peran Information Sharing dan LMX, serta fungsi peningkatan peran Employee Engagement dan kreatifitas.

ABSTRACT Abstract of Final Paper Submitted to The Examination Committe in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Management on Economis and Business Faculty of Syiah Kuala University THE ROLE OF EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND CREATIVITY IN MEDIATING THE EFFECT OF INFORMATION SHARING AND LEADER-MEMBERSHIP EXCHANGE (LMX) ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES OF MUHAMMADIYAH ACEH UNIVERSITY By IDA AYU FADHILLAH NIM : 2001202010096 Specialization : Dr. Ahmad Nizam, S.E., M.M. Co-Supervisor : Dr. T. Meldi, S.E., M.M. This study aims to examine the role of employee engagement and creativity in mediating the information sharing and leader-membership exchange (LMX) effect on employee performance at the University of Muhammadiyah Aceh (Unmuha). The population was all Unmuha employees, totaling 193 employees. Unmuha employees are structural lecturers and education staff employees who are spread out in each work unit. The sampling technique used was the census. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires. The analytical tool used is SEM AMOS. The results of this research at Muhammadiah Aceh University prove that Information Sharing and LMX affect Engagement, Information Sharing and LMX affect creativity, Engagement, and creativity affect Performance, Information Sharing, and LMX affect Performance, and Engagement and Creativity partially mediate the Information Sharing and LMX effect on Performance. This finding explains that the performance improvement model at Unmuha is a function of increasing the role of Information Sharing and LMX, as well as the function of increasing the role of Engagement and creativity.
