Minat merupakan suatu bentuk rasa ketertarikan yang ditunjukkan oleh setiap individu untuk mendorong dirinya melakukan hal yang disukai seperti pelajaran, hobi, ataupun olahraga. Suatu aktivitas dalam olahraga diperlukan minat untuk menimbulkan rasa tertarik dan perasaan senang ketika melakukan aktivitas permainan bola besar disekolah.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat siswa MIN 20 Aceh Besar terhadap permainan bola besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan metode survey dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 361 siswa.
Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling sebesar 20% (72 sampel) dari jumlah populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa minat siswa MIN 20 Aceh Besar terhadap permainan bola besar dikategorikan tinggi, yang didapat dari masing-masing permainan bola besar, yaitu: (1) minat siswa terhadap permainan bola voli berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebanyak 9 siswa atau 37.5% dengan rata-rata 82.62 yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal; (2) minat siswa terhadap permainan sepak bola berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebanyak 11 siswa atau 45.83% dengan rata-rata 94.04 yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal; dan (3) minat siswa terhadap permainan bola basket berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebanyak 10 siswa atau 41.67% dengan rata-rata 87.16 yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal.
Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat siswa MIN 20 Aceh Besar terhadap permainan bola besar dengan persentase tertinggi yaitu permainan sepak bola dengan 45.83% dengan kategori tinggi.

Interest is a form of interest shown by each individual to encourage himself to do things he likes such as lessons, hobbies, or sports. An activity in sports requires interest to create a sense of interest and feelings of pleasure when doing big ball game activities at school. This study aims to determine the interest of MIN 20 Aceh Besar students towards the big ball game. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach and survey method with a population of 361 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling of 20% (72 samples) of the total population. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis shows that the interest of MIN 20 Aceh Besar students towards big ball games is categorized as high, which is obtained from each big ball game, namely: (1) student interest in volleyball games is in the high category, namely 9 students or 37.5 % with an average of 82.62 which is influenced by external factors; (2) students' interest in soccer games is in the high category, as many as 11 students or 45.83% with an average of 94.04 which is influenced by internal and external factors; and (3) students' interest in basketball games is in the high category as many as 10 students or 41.67% with an average of 87.16 which is influenced by external factors.From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the interest of MIN 20 Aceh Besar students towards big ball games with the highest percentage is soccer games with 45.83% in the high category.
