Getting the basic need of Maslow is a basic need for men for getting irritabillitation, motivation and getting power up to the person or general people for optimal working. The quality of nursing care is an exactly standard care and the ethics code which is hoped by the consument as the user of hospital service/ care and also it could reached the satisfy level and hope getting for the patient. The purpose of the research is to know the relationship getting the basic need of Maslow, the physicology, the safety. loving and tobe loved. the self-esteem/ self respecting and self-actualization with the quality of nursing care in the rawat inap room. class m Badan Pelayanan Kesehatan Rumah Sakit Umum dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Collecting the sampel is begun/is started from 1 December untill 5 December 2006. Design by deskriptif corellation research. The number of the sample are 56 nurses and 56 patient with using Slovin pattren, the rnethode of taking the sample by simple random sampling with closing by "fraction Sample". the instrument of collecting the sample use the questionery in likert scale form, analyzing the sample is done with analyzeds univariat and bivariat with statistic test that are chi square test (r'), a: 0,05, df: 1 and table =3,481. The result of analyzing sample ' to be conted for getting the basic need of Maslow for nurse 5,964, the physicology need 4,487, the safety 5,022, loving and to be loved 9,426, the self respect 4,381 and self actualization 7.640. Conculsion: there is relationships between getting the basic need of Maslow, the physicology, the safety. loving and to be loved, self- respect, and the self actualization for the nurse with the quality of nursing care in rawat inap room class III badan pelayanan kesehatan rumah sakit umum dr. zainoel abidin banda aceh. To be suggested that for getting the basic need of nurse as social humam being before so that in doing nursing care, nurse must be more focus/ concent to the effort of getting up the need of patient with standard comprehensive and proffesion of ethics code.
