Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) menjadi permasalahan dunia yang serius dengan jumlah kasusnya yang meningkat dengan cepat. Hal ini membuat seluruh wilayah sudah memberlakukan penerapan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 5M, termasuk Kota Banda Aceh. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya di masyarakat dinilai masih kurang efektif. Adanya pengetahuan yang baik tentang protokol kesehatan penting bagi masyarakat dalam menerapkan 5M. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik individu dengan pengetahuan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kecamatan Kuta Alam Kota Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 100 responden. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner Pengetahuan 5M pencegahan Covid-19 terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak ada hubungan usia (p-value = 0.493), jenis kelamin (p-value = 0.278), suku (p-value = 0.201) tingkat pendidikan (p-value = 0.221), status pernikahan, (p-value = 0.733), pekerjaan (p-value = 0,738) dengan pengetahuan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kecamatan Kuta Alam Kota Banda Aceh. Kesimpulan tidak ada hubungan karakteristik individu dengan pengetahuan dikarenakan semua kelompok memiliki proporsi yang hampir sama dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang pengetahuan protokol kesehatan Covid-19. Rekomendasi untuk masyarakat dengan pengetahuan baik tentang protokol kesehatan Covid-19 agar tetap mempraktekan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan membatu masyarakat dengan pengetahuan kurang dalam bebagi informasi, sehingga Covid-19 tidak lagi sebagai ancaman bagi masyarkat di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas kecamatan Kuta Alam Banda Aceh.

This has made all regions have implemented the implementation of the Covid-19 5M health protocol, including the City of Banda Aceh. However, its implementation in the community is still considered to be ineffective. Having good knowledge of health protocols is important for the community in implementing 5M. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between individual characteristics and knowledge of the Covid-19 health protocol in the work area of the Kuta Alam District Health Center, Banda Aceh City. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study design. Sampling with purposive sampling technique amounted to 100 respondents. The data collection tool is in the form of a 5M Knowledge of Covid-19 prevention questionnaire consisting of 20 questions. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistical test and chi-square test. The results showed that there was no relationship between age (p = 0.493), gender (p = 0.278), ethnicity (p = 0.201), education level (p = 0.221), marital status (p = 0.733), occupation (p = 0.738) with knowledge of the Covid-19 health protocol in the work area of the Kuta Alam District Health Center, Banda Aceh City. The conclusion is that there is no relationship between individual characteristics and knowledge because all groups have almost the same proportion in obtaining information about knowledge of Covid-19 health protocols. Recommendations for people with good knowledge of the Covid-19 health protocol to keep practicing in daily life and help people with less knowledge in sharing information, so that Covid-19 is no longer a threat to the community in the Kuta Alam Subdistrict Health Center Work Area, Banda Aceh.
