Thesis Titled : The Implementation of storytelling Technique in Improving Students’ Speaking Ability



The difficulty in learning speaking is faced by almost students at SMA N 2 Banda Aceh. One of the solutions to cope with this problem is that the teacher should provide the appropiate method in teaching learning process. Therefore, the objective of this study is to find out how storytelling technique could improve student’s speaking ability in asking and giving instruction. It may enhance the quality of their performance in speaking. The subjects of this study are 21 students of the second grade. To collect data this study will employ test as the instrument. This study is expected to be practically and theoritically useful for readers, English teachers, and students.
