T. Sarwanidas NIM. 1209200190022. Pengaruh Kalium pada Tanah Gambut&#13;
terhadap Pertumbuhan, Produksi dan Mutu Benih Beberapa Varietas Kacang&#13;
Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) di bawah bimbingan Syamsuddin sebagai&#13;
pembimbing ketua dan Teti Arabia sebagai pembimbing anggota.&#13;
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui sejauhmana pengaruh dosis pemupukan&#13;
kalium dan varietas serta interaksi kedua faktor tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan,&#13;
produksi serta mutu benih kacang tanah pada tanah gambut. Penelitian ini&#13;
dilaksanakan dalam rumah plastik di kebun percobaan dan Laboratorum Benih&#13;
Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Teuku Umar, Laboratoriun Ilmu Tanah Fakultas&#13;
Pertanian Univesitas Gajah Mada dan Laboratorium Penelitian Tanah dan&#13;
Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, mulai dari tanggal 23 April&#13;
2013 sampai dengan 3 Oktober 2013. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan&#13;
adalah rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial 5 x 4, dimana dosis kalium terdiri&#13;
dari : 0, 25, 50, 75 dan 100 kg K2O ha-1 dan varietas terdiri dari : Naga Umbang,&#13;
Jerapah, Gajah dan Bison. Peubah pertumbuhan : diamati adalah tinggi tanaman&#13;
dan jumlah cabang umur 15, 30 dan 45 hari setelah tanam (HST), dan berat&#13;
berangkasan kering per tanaman, Peubah produksi terdiri dari : berat polong&#13;
kering per rumpun, persentase polong berisi dan hampa, bobot 100 biji polong&#13;
kering per ha, serapan K jaringan tanaman dan Kdd media tanam, dan mutu benih&#13;
yaitu :potensi tumbuh, daya berkecambah, kecepatan tumbuh, keserempakan&#13;
tumbuh, vigor kecambah dan T50. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosis kalium&#13;
berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman kacang tanah umur 15&#13;
HST, serapan K jaringan, Kdd media dan viabilitas dan vigor benih. Pemberian&#13;
kalium 75 kg K2O ha-1 menunjukkan serapan K tertinggi, sedangkan viabilitas dan&#13;
vigor benih sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemupukan kalium, terbaik diperoleh dengan&#13;
pemberian kalium 75 kg K2O ha-1 kecuali terhadap uji T50. Tetapi tidak&#13;
berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah cabang dan semua parameter produksi.&#13;
Varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman umur&#13;
15 HST. Produksi polong kering per hektar tertinggi diperoleh oleh varietas&#13;
Bison (3,96 ton ha-1) yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan Naga Umbang dan Jerapah.&#13;
Viabilitas dan vigor benih tertinggi ditunjukkan oleh varietas Jerapah. Terdapat&#13;
interaksi yang nyata antara dosis kalium dan varietas kacang tanah terhadap tinggi&#13;
tanaman umur 15 HST dan Kdd media tanam. Tinggi tanaman terbaik diperoleh&#13;
dengan pemupukan 50 kg K2O ha-1 pada varietas Bison. Sedang Kdd media yang&#13;
relatif tinggi ditunjukkan dengan dosis 100 kg K2O ha-1 pada media tanam Bison,&#13;
dan terendah dengan tanpa pemberian kalium.&#13;

Growth, Production and Seed Quality Several Varieties of groundnut (Arachis&#13;
hypogaea L.), under supervision of Syamsuddin and Teti Arabia.&#13;
This study aims to know the extent of the effect of potassium fertilization doses&#13;
and varieties as well as the interaction of these two factors on the growth,&#13;
production and quality of groundnut seeds in peat soil. Was conducted in the&#13;
screen house of garden experiment and Seed Laboratorium of Agriculture Faculty&#13;
Teuku Umar University, Soil Science laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of Gajah&#13;
Mada University and Soil and Crop Research Laboratory of the Agriculture&#13;
Faculty of Syiah Kuala University, starting from 23 April 2013 to 3 October 2013.&#13;
The experimental design used was a completely randomized design factorial 5 x 4,&#13;
which consists of potassium doses: 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 kg K2O ha-1 and varieties&#13;
consist of: Naga Umbang, Jerapah, Gajah and Bison. Variables growth: plant&#13;
height was observed and the number of branches the age of 15, 30 and 45 days&#13;
after planting (DAP), and biomass dry weight per plant, production variables&#13;
consist of: weight of dry pods per hill, percentage of pods containing and hollow,&#13;
weight of 100 seeds dry pods per ha, K uptake and plant tissue Kexchangable&#13;
planting medium, and seed quality namely: growth potential, germination, growth&#13;
speed, simultaneity grow, sprout vigor and T50. The results showed significant&#13;
dose of potassium on the growth of peanut plant height age 15 DAP, uptake of K&#13;
networks, Kexchangable media and viability and seed vigor. Administration of&#13;
potassium 75 kg K2O ha-1 showed the highest K uptake, whereas the viability and&#13;
seed vigor is strongly influenced by potassium fertilization, best obtained by&#13;
administering potassium 75 kg K2O ha-1 except for the T50 test. But did not&#13;
significantly affect the number of branches and all the production parameters.&#13;
Varieties very significant effect on plant height growth age 15 DAP. Production of&#13;
dry pods per hectare obtained by varieties Bison highest (3.96 ton ha-1) were not&#13;
significantly different with the Naga Umbang and Jerapah. The highest seed&#13;
viability and vigor shown by Jerapah varieties. There is a significant interaction&#13;
between dose of potassium and peanut varieties to plant height age 15 DAP and&#13;
Kexchangable growing media. Plant height is best obtained by fertilization of 50&#13;
kg K2O ha-1 at Bison varieties. Kexchangable media being shown by the relatively&#13;
high dose of 100 kg K2O ha-1 at planting media Bison, and without giving the&#13;
lowest with potassium.&#13;
