This research aimed to identify the significant effect of MTsN Rukoh students' motivation on their English achievement. The population was the second grade students of MTsN Rukoh, Banda Aceh Academic Year 2013/2014 which the number of population was 100. The sample was 27 of second grade students which were determined by using random sampling technique. This research used Causal correlation ex post facto as design with quantitative approach. The instruments which were used for the data collection were documentation and questionnaire. The result of the regression statistical analysis showed that motivation contributed to the learning achievement by 45.1 %. The shape of the regression equation was ?=17.547 + 0.766 X. The researcher recommended that beside the teachers teach the learning material to the students, their role is also very important in the success of students.  The conclusion of this research; Motivation gave a significant effect on students’ learning achievement. Instrumental motivation gave more contributions than integrative motivation.&#13;
