Pemakaian gigi tiruan lepasan yang kurang bersih dapat menimbulkan dampak terhadap kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Pentingnya pemeliharaan kebersihan protesa yang dilakukan secara efisiendapat mencegah timbulnya hal yang dapat merugikan pengguna seperti infeksi bakteri dan jamur yang berpengaruh terhadap kebersihan dari gigi tiruan, kesehatan rongga mulut, dan juga fungsi dari gigi tiruan sendiri. Keberhasilan perawatan dan pemeliharaan gigi tiruan sebagian lepasan tidak hanya tergantung pada instruksi yang diberikan dokter gigi dalam pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi tiruan tetapi juga tergantung pada pengetahuan dan perilaku pasien dalam memeliharaan kebersihan gigi tirusn lepasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku pemeliharaan kebersihan pada pengguna gigi tiruan sebagian lepasan akrilik di praktek dokter gigi Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan data responden dengan mengisi kuisioner online di google form. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Subjek pengguna gigi tiruan sebagain lepasan akrilik di praktek dokter gigi di Banda Aceh sebanyak 106 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, uji statistik dengan menggunakan Uji Chi Square didapatkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) 0,000 < 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa ada Hubungan Antara Pengetahuan Dengan Perilaku Pemeliharaan Kebersihan Pada Pengguna Gigi Tiruan Sebagian Lepasan Akrilik di Praktek Dokter Gigi Banda Aceh.

The use of removable denture that are less can have an impact on dental and oral health. The importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the prosthesis that is carried out can prevent the occurrence of things that can harm the user such as bacterial and fungal infections that affect the cleanliness of the denture, oral health, and also the function of the denture itself. The success of the treatment and maintenance of removable partial dentures does not only depend on the instructions given by the dentist in health maintenance but also depends on the knowledge and behavior of nurses in maintaining the cleanliness of removable dentures. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hygiene maintenance behavior in users of removable partial dentures in the dental practice of Banda Aceh. This research is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. Retrieval of respondent data by filling out online questionnaires on google form. This study was conducted on 106 people who used removable partial dentures at a dentist's practice in Banda Aceh. The results showed that the statistical test using the Chi Square test got the Asymp value. Signature (2-sided) 0.000 < 0.05. It was concluded that there was a relationship between knowledge and hygiene maintenance behavior in users of acrylic removable partial dentures at the Banda Aceh Dentistry Practice.
