Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk ungkapan disfemisme bahasa Kluet, (2) mendeskripsikan konteks penggunaan disfemisme bahasa Kluet, dan (3) mendeskripsikan fungsi disfemisme bahasa Kluet dalam tuturan masyarakat Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Manfaat penelitian ini secara teoretis diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu rujukan dan referensi kajian disfemisme dalam bahasa Kluet, secara praktis penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat ataupun pembaca mengenai disfemisme bahasa Kluet. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu empat orang informan yang diambil dari setiap kecamatan dengan total informan sebanyak 16 orang, dan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu ungkapan disfemisme masyarakat Kluet Utara, Kluet Timur, Kluet Tengah, dan Kluet Selatan. Hasil penelitian ini (1) bentuk disfemisme bahasa Kluet terdiri dari tiga bentuk yaitu bentuk kata, frasa, dan klausa, (2) konteks penggunaan disfemisme bahasa Kluet yaitu konteks kebiasaan, marah, latah/terkejut, dan melarang, (3) fungsi penggunaan disfemisme bahasa Kluet dalam tuturan masayarakat Kabupaten Aceh Selatan terdiri atas lima fungsi yaitu fungsi untuk menghina, mengancam, menyakiti/mengganggu, sebagai candaan, mengungkap emosi yang kuat, berat, dan ekstrim. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, bentuk ungkapan disfemisme yang paling banyak ditemui adalah disfemisme berbentuk frasa dan konteks penggunaan disfemisme yang paling dominan adalah konteks kebiasaan.

The theoretical benefits of this research are expected to be one of the references and references for the study of dysphemism in the Kluet language, practically this research can provide information to the public or readers about Kluet language dysphemism. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources in this study were four informants taken from each sub-district with a total of 16 informants, and the data in this study were expressions of dysphemism in the people of North Kluet, East Kluet, Central Kluet, and South Kluet. The results of this study (1) the form of Kluet language dysphemism consists of three forms, namely the form of words, phrases, and clauses, (2) the context of the use of Kluet language dysphemism, namely the context of habit, anger, talkative/surprised, and prohibiting, (3) the function of the use of dysphemism Kluet language in the speech of the people of South Aceh Regency consists of five functions, namely the function to insult, threaten, hurt / annoy, as a joke, express strong, heavy, and extreme emotions. Based on the results of research and data analysis, the most common form of dysphemism expression is phrase-shaped dysphemism and the most dominant context of dysphemism usage is habitual context.
