ABSTRACT The preliminary design of chitosan plant provided is using chemical method with shrimp shells, NaOH, and HCl as raw materials. NaOH and HCl is obtained from PT.Bintang Mitra, and shrimp shells is obtained from PT.Dua Putra Utama Makmur and other shrimp processing plant.
