Abstrak penelitian ini membahas tentang pengendalian persediaan crued palm oil (cpo) menggunakan metode q probabilistik pada pt. sisirau aceh tamiang, yang merupakan salah satu pabrik industri kelapa sawit. permasalahan yang terdapat didalam perusahaan ini adalah persediaan bahan baku yang tidak pasti sehingga mempengaruhi proses produksi untuk memenuhi permintaan pelanggan. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah optimum sekali pesan, nilai reorder point dan jumlah cadangan pengamanan dari bahan baku cpo. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode q probabilistik kasus lostsales lebih optimal dibandingkan dengan metode q probabilistik kasus backorder dengan jumlah pemesanan optimum sebesar 96,262 ton, nilai reorder point sebesar 19,7424 ton dan safety stock sebesar 31,547 ton. kata kunci: pengendalian persediaan, metode q probabilistik, backorder, lostsales

ABSTRACT This research discusses the inventory control of Crued Palm Oil (CPO) using the probabilistic Q method at PT. Sisirau Aceh Tamiang, which is one of the palm oil industrial factories. The problem in this company is the fluctuating supply of raw materials that affects the production process to meet customer demand. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum number of messages, the value of the reorder point and safety stock from CPO raw materials. The results show that the probabilistic Q for lostsales cases was more optimal than the probabilistic Q method for backorder cases with the optimum orders value of 96,262 tons, reorder point value of 19,724 tons and safety stock of 31,547 tons..
