Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan terhadap preferensi uang elektronik di kabupaten aceh besar. melalui perhitungan slovin, maka jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sejumlah 178 sampel rumah tangga. penelitian ini menggunakan model preferensi sehingga dalam mengestimasi model tersebut digunakan pendekatan model binary yang merupakan bagian dari pendekatan non-linier. untuk mendapatkan hasil estimasi pada model non-linier ini digunakan model estimasi maximum likelihood. dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil bahwa pendidikan, usia, dan jenis kelamin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap preferensi uang elektronik. sedangkan ukuran keluarga dan pendapatan per kapita tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap preferensi uang elektronik. kata kunci : pendidikan, uang elektronik, preferensi, usia, ukuran keluarga, pendapatan per kapita, jenis kelamin.

This study aims to analyze the effect of education on electronic money preferences in Aceh Besar District. Through Slovin's calculation, the number of samples in this study was 178 household samples. This study uses a preference model, so that in estimating the model a binary model approach is used, which is part of a non-linear approach. To get the estimation results in this non-linear model, the maximum likelihood estimation model is used. From the results of the study, it was found that education, age, and gender had a significant effect on electronic money preferences, while family size and income per capita do not have a positive effect on electronic money preferences.
