Perbandingan lama pemeraman anaerob limbah sapi lokal terhadap kualitas biogas oleh: rahmadhani abstrak biogas merupakan salah satu sumber energi alternatif yang dapat diperbarui. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh perbandingan lama pemeraman anaerob limbah sapi lokal terhadap kualitas biogas. penelitian ini dilaksanakan di university farm stasiun riset 2 universitas syiah kuala, ie se’um, kabupaten aceh besar yang berlangsung selama 67 hari (15 maret - 22 mei 2014). penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (ral) dengan 3 perlakuan dan masing-masing 5 ulangan. perlakuan lama pemeraman anaerob yaitu a: 4 minggu; b: 6 minggu dan c: 8 minggu. sampel feses yang digunakan adalah feses sapi lokal yang terdapat di university farm stasiun riset 2 universitas syiah kuala, ie se’um, kabupaten aceh besar. parameter yang diamati ini adalah ph bahan isian sebelum dan setelah difermentasi, total berat slurry setelah difermentasi dan kualitas biogas yang dihasilkan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan lama pemeraman berpengaruh menurunkan ph dan total berat solid slurry dalam biodigester setelah pembentukan biogas, serta meningkatkan kualitas biogas. namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai ph awal bahan baku isian feses sapi. bahan baku feses sapi lokal menghasilkan biogas dalam penelitian ini pada hari ke-30 dan lama pemeraman anaerob limbah sapi lokal yang terbaik terhadap kualitas biogas terdapat pada perlakuan c yaitu 8 minggu. kata kunci : biogas, fermentasi, feses, sapi lokal. ? comparison of fermentation period of organic materials composed by cattle feces on quality of biogas by: rahmadhani abstract biogas is one of the alternative energy sources that can be developed. this study aimed to examine the effect of long comparison of local cattle waste anaerobic curing to quality biogas. this research was conducted at the university farm research station 2 university of syiah kuala, se'um ie, aceh besar for 67 days (15 march is to 2014 may 22). the research was conducted by means of experiments using a completely randomized design (crd) with 3 treatments and 5 replications each. period of fermentation were a: 4 weeks; b: 6 weeks and c: 8 weeks. parameters observed in this study were the ph before after fermentation, the total weight of the slurry after fermented and quality of biogas. the results showed that the longer difference of fermentation period effected lowering the ph and total solid weight of the slurry in the biodigester, as well as improve the quality of biogas. however, no effect on the initial ph value of the raw material of cow feces. the raw materials of local to produce biogas from cow feces was produced after 30 day of fermentation. the high quality of biogas was observed on treatment after 8 week of fermentation. key words : biogas, fermentation, feces, cattle.
