Morfologi sel darah merah ular sanca kembang (malayophyton reticulatus) lokal sumatera abstrak pemeriksaan darah merupakan serangkaian kegiatan untuk menegakkan diagnosis lanjutan, salah satu metodenya adalah melihat morfologi sel darah merah. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran morfologi sel darah merah pada ular sanca kembang (malayophyton reticulatus) lokal sumatera. lima sampel darah ular sanca kembang (m. reticulatus) lokal sumatera yang dikoleksi melalui vena coccigea ventralis dan dibuat sediaan darah apus. hasil yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif. pada penelitian ini didapatkan hasil yaitu morfologi sel darah merah ular sanca kembang (m. reticulatus) lokal sumatera berbentuk oval, memiliki inti yang oval dan bulat, sitoplasma berwarna pink-ungu dan inti berwarna ungu pekat. selain itu ditemukan pula sel darah merah polikromatofilik dengan inti tidak teratur, bentuk sel tidak beraturan, sitoplasma sel yang lebih pudar dibandingkan sel darah merah dewasa dan berukuran lebih kecil dibandingkan eritrosit dewasa. kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah morfologi sel darah merah dewasa ular sanca kembang (m. reticulatus) lokal sumatera berbentuk oval dan memiliki inti sel, sitoplasma berwarna pink-ungu dan inti sel berwarna ungu pekat. morfologi sel darah merah yang belum matang memiliki ciri inti tidak teratur, bentuk sel tidak beraturan dan sitoplasma yang lebih pudar. kata kunci : morfologi, sel darah merah, ular sanca kembang (m. reticulatus) lokal sumatera

MORPHOLOGY OF RED BLOOD CELLS OF SUMATERAN RETICULATED PYTHONS (Malayophyton reticulatus) ABSTRACT Blood examination is an examination for further diagnosis, one of the methods for further diagnosis was to see the morphology of red blood cells. The aim of this study was to determine the morphology of red blood cells in the local Sumatran reticulated python (Malayophyton reticulatus). Fives samples of local Sumatran reticulated python (M. reticulatus) blood were collected through the ventral coccigea vein and made a blood smear. The results obtained were analyzed using descriptive methods, the results were that the morphology of red blood cells of Sumatran reticulated pythons (M. reticulatus) was oval in shape, had an oval to round nucleus, pink-purple cytoplasm and a deep purple nucleus. In addition, polychromatophilic red blood cells were also found with irregular nuclei, irregular cell shape, cell cytoplasm that was more faded than adult red blood cells and slightly smaller in size than adult erythrocytes. The conclusion is that the adult red blood cells of Sumatran reticulated pythons (M. reticulatus) are oval in shape, has a nucleus, pink-purple cytoplasm and dark purple cell nucleus. The morphology of immature red blood cells is characterized by irregular nuclei, irregular cell shape and faded cytoplasm.
