Abstrak. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis kompos kulit jengkol dan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat, serta untuk mengetahui interaksi antara kedua faktor tersebut. penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di desa rigeb kecamatan dabun gelang kabupaten gayo lues dan laboratorium dasar program studi diluar kampus utama (psdku) gayo lues universitas syiah kuala, penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan agustus sampai dengan desember 2021. penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (rak) pola faktorial 4 x 2. ada dua faktor yang diteliti yaitu dosis pupuk kompos kulit jengkol dan varietas tomat. faktor dosis kompos kulit jengkol terdiri dari 0 (kontrol), 5 ton ha-1, 10 ton ha-1 dan 15 ton ha-1, faktor varietas tomat terdiri dari varietas servo f1 dan lokal cherry. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis kompos kulit jengkol berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 30 hst, diameter batang umur 15 dan 45 hst, umur berbunga dan bobot per buah, berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 dan 45 hst dan diameter umur 30 hst dan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap parameter lainnya. pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat terbaik dijumpai pada dosis kompos kulit jengkol 10 ton ha-1. varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman, bobot per buah, diameter buah dan potensi hasil, berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 hst namun berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap parameter lainnya. pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat terbaik dijumpai pada varietas servo f1. terdapat interaksi yang sangat nyata antara dosis kompos kulit jengkol dengan varietas tanaman tomat terhadap tinggi tanaman 15 hst dan 30 hst, umur berbunga dan bobot per buah. pertumbuhan tanaman tomat terbaik dijumpai pada kombinasi dosis kompos kulit jengkol 10 ton ha-1 dengan varietas servo f1. kata kunci : dosis kompos, varietas dan tanaman tomat



Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of the dose of jengkol peel compost and varieties on the growth and yield of tomato plants, as well as to determine the interaction between the two factors. This research has been carried out in Rigeb Village, Dabun Bracelet District, Gayo Lues Regency and the Basic Laboratory of the Gayo Lues Study Program Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) of Syiah Kuala University, this research was carried out from August to December 2021. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK). Factorial pattern 4 x 2. There were two factors studied, namely the dose of jengkol peel compost and tomato varieties. The dose factor of jengkol peel compost consisted of 0 (Control), 5 tons ha-1, 10 tons ha-1 and 15 tons ha-1, the tomato variety factor consisted of Servo F1 and Local Cherry varieties. The results showed that the dose of jengkol peel compost had a very significant effect on plant height at 30 DAP, stem diameter at 15 and 45 DAP, flowering age and weight per fruit, significantly affected plant height at 15 DAP, plant height at 45 DAP and diameter at age. 30 DAP and had no significant effect on the number of fruit per plant, fruit weight, fruit diameter and yield potential. The best growth and yield of tomato plants was found at a dose of 10 tons ha-1 of jengkol skin compost. Varieties had a very significant effect on the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, weight per fruit, fruit diameter and yield potential, significantly affected plant height at 15 DAP but had no significant effect on plant height 30 and 45 DAP, stem diameter at age 15, 30 and 45 DAP and flowering age. The best growth and yield of tomato plants was found in the Servo F1 variety. There was a very significant interaction between the dose of jengkol peel compost and tomato varieties on plant height 15 DAP, 30 DAP, flowering age and weight per fruit. The best growth of tomato plants was found in the combination dose of jengkol peel compost 10 tons ha-1 with Servo F1 variety. Keywords: compost dose, varieties and tomato plants
