Abstrak maulida. 2022. “efektivitas metode learning starts with a question berbantuan media poster dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas x ips-1 man 4 aceh besar”. skripsi, jurusan pendidikan sejarah, fakutas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, universitas syiah kuala. pembimbing: (1) drs. zulfan, m. hum (2) sufandi iswanto, s.pd., m.pd kata kunci: motivasi belajar, metode learning starts with a question, media poster judul ini diteliti karena masalah kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar sejarah. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas x ips 1 dengan pengunaan metode learning starts with a question berbantuan media poster dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan metode lsq berbantuan media poster. jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas x ips-1 yang berjumlah 23 siswa dengan menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa observasi, angket, dan tes. hasil observasi motivasi belajar siswa yaitu 91,25% (sangat termotivasi), hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa nilai ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 95% (sangat baik), dan hasil perhitungan angket menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata motivasi belajar 77,89 (tinggi). dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode lsq berbantuan media poster efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa.

Hum (2) Sufandi Iswanto, S.Pd., M.Pd Keywords: Learning Motivation, Learning Starts With A Question Method, Media Poster This title was investigated because of the problem of the lack of student motivation in learning history. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of students' history learning motivation in class X IPS 1 by using the learning starts with a question method assisted by poster media and to determine student responses to the application of the LSQ method assisted by poster media. The type of research used in this research is descriptive statistics with a quantitative approach. As for the subject of this research are students of class X IPS-1 totaling 23 students using data collection instruments in the form of observations, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the observation of students' learning motivation are 91.25% (Highly Motivated), the test results show that the students' classical mastery scores reach 95% (Very Good), and the results of the questionnaire calculation show that the average learning motivation is 77.89 (High). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the LSQ method with the aid of poster media is effective in increasing students' motivation to learn history.
