Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh adopsi extensible business reporting language (xbrl) terhadap kinerja perusahaan. dengan menggunakan pengukuran return on assets (roa) sebagai kinerja akuntansi dan market to book ratio (mb) sebagai kinerja pasar. penelitian ini menggunakan 176 sampel perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia selama periode 2013 hingga 2020. metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu model regresi data panel. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adopsi xbrl tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan karena adopsi xbrl belum tersosialisasi dengan baik sehingga banyak pengguna informasi keuangan baik investor maupun non investor masih belum mengetahui dan memahami kegunaan dan keunggulan dari sistem pelaporan keuangan yang disebut xbrl

This study aims to analyze the effect of Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) adoption on company performance. In terms of Return on Assets (ROA) as an accounting performance and Market to Book Ratio (MB) as the market performance measurement. This Study used 176 samples of companies listed on manufacture on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2013 to 2020 period. The sampling method used was purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is panel data regression model. The Result showed that the adoption of XBRL had no effect on company performance because the adoption of XBRL has not been well socialized so that many users of financial information both investors and non-investors still do not know and understand the usefulness and advantages of system financial reporting called XBRL.
