Prarancangan pabrik magnesium hidroksida menggunakan bahan baku batu kapur dan bittern. batu kapur diperoleh dari tambang batu kapur di kabupaten tuban, provinsi jawa timur sementara itu bittern diperoleh dari pt. garam di kabupaten sumenep, provinsi jawa timur. kapasitas produksi pabrik ini adalah 4.500 ton/tahun dengan hari kerja 330 hari/tahun. bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan adalah perseroan terbatas (pt) dengan menggunakan metode struktur garis dan staf. kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 160 orang. rencana pendirian pabrik di daerah madura, kabupaten sumenep, provinsi jawa timur dengan luas area 18.200 m2. sumber air pabrik ini berasal dari sungai pasean, provinsi jawa timur dengan total kebutuhan air sebesar 16.016,003 kg/jam, serta untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik sebesar 891,854 kw/jam diperoleh dari generator diesel. hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: 1. fixed capital investment = rp 428.096.482.679,- 2. working capital investment = rp 107.024.120.670,- 3. total capital investment = rp 535.120.603.348,- 4. total production cost = rp 219.884.881.276,- 5. sales cost = rp 381.534.746.112,- 6. laba bersih = rp 121.237.398.627,- 7. pay out time = 3,2 tahun (metode linear) 8. internal rate of return = 16,45% (metode cash flow) 9. break event point = 40%

Magnesium Hidroxide plant design uses limestone and bittern as raw materials. The limestone is obtained from limestone quarry, in Tuban district, East Java Province and bittern are obtained from PT. Garam, in Tuban district, East Java Province. The capacity of this production plant is 4,500 tons/year with 330 working days/year. The planned form of this company is an Incorporated (Inc.) using the line and staff structure method. The required number of workers to run this company is 160 people. The factory location is planned to be established in Tuban district, East Java Province, with an area is 18,200 m2. The water source for this factory comes from Pasean River, East Java Province, with the water needed is 16,016.003 kg/hour, and also to fulfil 891.854 kW/hour electricity is needed from a diesel generator. The result of the economic analysis obtained are as follows: 1. Fixed Capital Investment = Rp 428,096,482,679,- 2. Working Capital Investment = Rp 107,024,120,670,- 3. Total Capital Investment = Rp 535,120,603,348,- 4. Total Production Cost = Rp 219,884,881,276,- 5. Sales Cost = Rp 381,534,746,112,- 6. Laba Bersih = Rp 121,237,398,627,- 7.
