Penelitian tentang kajian ekologi kupu-kupu di stasiun penelitian soraya ini bertujuan untuk menghitung komposisi jenis, frekuensi dan kelimpahan relatif, indeks keanekaragaman, kekayaan, dominansi, kesamaan, dan kemerataan, serta menganalisis pola sebaran. metode yang digunakan adalah metode transek, berjalan dengan mengikuti jalur trail sepanjang 1 km dan lebar 10 m. pengambilan sampel kupu-kupu dilakukan dari bulan agustus 2020 hingga februari 2021. keseluruhan kupu-kupu yang diperoleh sebanyak 1504 individu dari 127 jenis yang tergolong ke dalam enam famili yaitu, rhiodinidae, hesperidae, lycaenidae, pieridae, papilionidae dan nymphalidae. nilai indeks keanekaragaman shannon-weinner (h’) sebesar 4,135 yang tergolong tinggi, nilai indeks kemerataan 0,854 (sebaran merata), indeks dominansi 0,024 (dominansi rendah) dan indeks kekayaan jenis 26,011 (kekayaan melimpah). nilai indeks kesamaan antar habitat (is) berkisar 58,82-69,23% yaitu tergolong tinggi (is > 50%). pola sebaran jenis kupu-kupu terdapat dua bentuk pola yaitu mengelompok sebanyak 86 jenis (67,7%), dan seragam sebanyak 15 jenis (11,8%) dan sebanyak 26 jenis (20,5%) tidak dapat dianalisis berdasarkan indeks morisita (n=1). kata kunci: kupu-kupu, keanekaragaman, ekologi, pola sebaran, stasiun penelitian soraya.



Abstract

The ecological study of the butterflies at the Soraya Research Station aims to calculate species composition, relative frequency and abundance, diversity, richness, dominance, similarity, and evenness index, also analyze species distribution patterns. The method used is the transect method, walking by following a 1 km long and 10 m wide trail. Sampling of butterflies was carried out from August 2020 to February 2021. A total of 1504 individuals from 127 species belonging to 6 families, namely, Rhiodinidae, Hesperidae, Lycaenidae, Pieridae, Papilionidae and Nymphalidae. The diversity index Shannon-Weinner value (H') is 4.135 which belongs to the high category. The value of the evenness index is 0.854 (evenly distributed), the dominance index is 0.024 (low dominance) and the richness index is 26.011 (abundant category). The similarity index between the habitats (IS) was ranged from 59-69%, which is classified as high (IS > 50%). There are two patterns of butterfly distribution, namely grouping 86 species (67.7%), and uniform 15 species (11.8%) and as many as 26 species (20.5%) cannot be analyzed based on the Morisita index (n=1).
