Susi yanti: penerapan model project based learning berbasis stem untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas x mas darul ihsan pembimbing i. dr. hafnati rahmatan, m.si, pembimbing ii. prof. dr. m. ali sarong, m.si abstrak keterampilan peserta didik untuk menganalisis suatu permasalahan dalam melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis masih kurang terlatih. oleh karena itu dilatih melalui model project based learning berbasis stem agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan dan perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model project based learning berbasis stem pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di kelas x mas darul ihsan. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian eksperimen. desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu one group pretest-postest design. populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas x mas darul ihsan yang berjumlah 159. teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan 30 soal tes pilihan ganda beralasan dan hasil belajar menggunakan soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 soal. analisis data menggunakan uji n-gain dan uji paired sample t-tes, pada taraf signifikan 0,05. hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) model project based learning berbasis stem dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di kelas x mas darul ihsan, 2) model project based learning berbasis stem dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di kelas x mas darul ihsan, 3) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model project based learning berbasis stem, 4) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model project based learning berbasis stem. kesimpulan: model project based learning berbasis stem dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di kelas x mas darul ihsan kata kunci: model project based learning, stem, keterampilan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar

Susi Yanti: The Application of STEM-Based Project Based Learning Model to Improve Critical Thinking Skills and Learning Outcomes of Year X Students at MAS Darul Ihsan Supervisor I. Dr. Hafnati Rahmatan, M.Si, Supervisor II. Prof. Dr. M. Ali Sarong, M.Si ABSTRACT Students’ skills to analyze a problem in practicing critical thinking skills are poorly trained. Therefore, STEM-based project-based learning is used to improve the learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills. This study aimed to determine the improvement of Year X students’ critical thinking skills and learning outcomes using STEM-based project-based learning on the topic of environmental pollution in MAS Darul Ihsan. This research is a quantitative research method with an experimental research approach. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was 159 Year X students in MAS Darul Ihsan. The sampling technique used a total sampling. The instrument used to measure critical thinking skills consisted of 30 reasoning multiple choice questions, and the instrument to examine the learning outcomes was 30 multiple-choice questions. Data were analyzed using the N-gain test and paired sample t-test at a significant level of 0.05. The results showed that the model of STEM-based project-based learning could improve Year X students' critical thinking skills on the topic of environmental pollution in MAS Darul Ihsan. It was also revealed that the model could enhance Year X students’ learning outcomes on the topic of environmental pollution in MAS Darul Ihsan. Therefore, it can be concluded that the model of STEM-based project-based learning can improve Year X students’ critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes on the topic of environmental pollution in MAS Darul Ihsan.
