Kesiapan dan kemandirian belajar tentunya sangat membantu siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas dalam belajarnya. tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan dan kemandirian belajar siswa sma negeri 2 kuta baro. penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa di sma negeri 2 kuta baro yang berjumlah 96 siswa, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling atau sampel total, jadi jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket bentuk skala likert dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir seluruh siswa (98,96%) berada pada kategori sedang sampai sangat tinggi, hanya sebagian kecil berada pada kategori rendah sampai sangat rendah pada kesiapan siswa. pada kemandirian belajar hampir seluruh siswa (96,88%) berada pada kategori sedang sampai sangat tinggi, sebagian kecil (3,13%) berada pada kategori rendah sampai sangat rendah. hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada aspek fisik dalam kesiapan siswa mendapat persentase tertinggi sedangkan pada aspek materiil mendapat persentase rendah dan sangat rendah. untuk kemandirian belajar, pada aspek bertanggung jawab mendapat persentase tertinggi sedangkan pada aspek percaya diri mendapat persentase terendah. diharapkan agar siswa lebih siap dalam belajar seperti dalam mengatur jadwal belajar, berinisiatif menacari tambahan dari berbagai sumber dan percaya terhadap kemampuan diri sendiri. kepada guru bk agar dapat memberikan layanan yang dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa agar lebih siap menghadapi permasalahan dalam belajar.

Readiness and independence in learning is certainly very helpful for students in completing tasks in their learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of readiness and learning independence of students at SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Baro. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is all students at SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Baro, totaling 96 students, while the sample of this study uses total sampling or total sample, so the number of samples is the same as the population. The data collection technique used a Likert scale questionnaire and the data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that almost all students (98.96%) were in the moderate to very high category, only a small proportion were in the low to very low category on student readiness. In independent learning, almost all students (96.88%) are in the moderate to very high category, a small proportion (3.13%) are in the low to very low category. The results showed that the physical aspect of students' readiness got the highest percentage while the material aspect got a low and very low percentage. For independent learning, the responsible aspect gets the highest percentage while the self-confidence aspect gets the lowest percentage. It is expected that students are better prepared in learning such as in arranging study schedules, taking the initiative to seek additions from various sources and believing in their own abilities. For BK teachers to be able to provide services that can increase student confidence so that they are better prepared to face problems in learning.
