Ayam kampung sering terserang parasit. salah satu parasit darah yang ditemukan adalah trypanosoma sp. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi trypanosoma sp pada ayam kampung (gallus gallus domesticus) di rumah potong hewan di kota banda aceh dan aceh besar. sampel darah sebanyak 100 ekor ayam digunakan dalam penelitian ini. untuk mengidentifikasi trypanosoma sp, teknik sentrifugasi mikro hematokrit (mhct) dan apusan darah. pemeriksaan dengan mhct dan apusan darah tipis menunjukkan tidak ada sampel darah yang mengandung trypanosoma sp. berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ditemukan trypanosoma sp pada 100 sampel darah.

Abstract
Kampong chickens are often attacked by parasites. One of the blood parasites found is Trypanosoma sp. This study aims to identify of Trypanosoma sp in kampong chickens (Gallus gallus domesticus) in slaughterhouse in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar cities. Blood samples of 100 chickens were used in this research. To identify the Trypanosoma sp, micro haematocrit centrifugation technique (MHCT) and blood smear. Examination with MHCT and thin blood smear showed that none of the blood samples contained Trypanosoma sp. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that were no Trypanosoma sp found in all 100 blood samples.
