Perbandingan metode diagnosis toxoplasma gondii menggunakan enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (elisa) dan uji rapid diagnostic test pada kucing liar (felis catus) di banda aceh abstrak toxoplasma gondii merupakan parasit intraseluler yang bersifat obligat dari golongan protozoa yang menyebabkan penyakit toxoplasmosis. tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji perbandingan diagnosis toxoplasma gondii menggunakan uji enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (elisa) dan rapid diagnostic test menggunakan 20 sampel darah kucing liar jantan di banda aceh. hasil pemeriksaan menggunakan kedua metode menunjukkan hasil yang sama, yaitu 7 ekor kucing positif terinfeksi toxoplasmosis dan 13 ekor kucing negatif dengan persentase positif 35% dan negatif 65%. hasil pemeriksaan positif dari rapid diagnostic test ditandai dengan munculnya dua garis warna ungu dan negatif hanya terdapat satu garis ungu. hasil positif elisa diperoleh dengan melihat rataan nilai absorben dan titer igg yaitu 0,143±0,030 dan 12,542±4,659 u/ml, sedangkan hasil negatif 0,018±0,007 dan 0,00±0,00 u/ml. berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa uji toxoplasmosis menggunakan kedua metode ini memiliki hasil yang sama. kata kunci :toxoplasma gondii, protozoa, toxoplasmosis, uji elisa.

COMPARISON OF DIAGNOSTIC METHODS Toxoplasma gondii USING Enzyme-linked immunosorvent assay (ELISA) AND RAPID DIAGNOSTIC TEST IN STRAY CAT (Felis catus) IN BANDA ACEH ABSTRACT Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular parasite of the protozoan group that causes toxoplasmosis. The purpose of this study was to determine and examine the comparison of the diagnosis of Toxoplasma gondii using the Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and rapid diagnostic tests using 20 male stray cat blood samples in Banda Aceh. The results of the examination using both methods showed the same results, namely 7 positive cats infected with toxoplasmosis and 13 negative cats with a positive percentage of 35% and negative 65%. Possitive examination results from the rapid diagnostic test are marked by the appearance of two purple lines and negative only one purple line. Possitive result in ELISA was obtained by average value of absorbance and IgG titer were 0.143±0.030 and 12.542±4.659 U/ml, while the negative result were 0.018±0.007 dan 0.00±0.00 U/ml. Based on the result of the research it can be conclude that the toxoplasmosis test using these two methods was the same results. Keyword : Toxoplasma gondii, Protozoa, Toxoplasmosis, ELISA test.
