Abstract

ABSTRACT Abstract of Final Paper Submitted to The Examination Committe in Partial Fulfilment of The Reguiment for The Degree of Master of of faculty of Economics and Business of Syiah Kuala University EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF THE BRI TO BRI SYARIAH CONVERSION PROCESS ON THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION ON WORK SATISFACTION AND WORK MOTIVATION AND ITS EFFECT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE By: IRWAN NPM : 1801202010035 Specialization : General Management Supervisor : Dr. Said Musnadi, S.E. M.S.i Co-Supervisor : Dr. Teuku Roli Ilhamsyah, S.E.,M.M This study tries to examine the impact of job satisfaction and work motivation on the effect of compensation on employee performance directly and indirectly. Meanwhile BRI Syariah (Organizational Change) conversion is tested as moderation in the established model. An online questionnaire was conducted to obtain data with a total of 143 employees. The data is processed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study found that, directly, the three factors, namely compensation for job satisfaction and work motivation have a significant impact on employee performance. Compensation for job satisfaction and motivation is also known to be significant, as well as significant satisfaction on work motivation. Furthermore, job decision and work motivation have become a significant mediator on the effect of compensation on employee performance. Meanwhile, BRI Syariah (Orgnizational Change) conversion moderates significantly on the relationship between compensation and job satisfaction, work motivation and employee performance. This study provides an implementation that organizational change can work well when employee compensation is better or in accordance with the previous one so that job satisfaction and work motivation can be maintained or increased and in the end organizational change can increase employee performance. The novelty of this research lies in a model built by testing the moderating effect of the relationships formed so as to provide more robust justification for the impact of conversion in the world of Islamic banking.
