Sahrina, 2021. the relationship between mother's knowledge of nutrition and nutritional status of toddlers in serbajadi district, east aceh district. thesis-study program of biology education psdku, gayo lues campus, faculty of teacher training and education, syiah kuala university. supervisor: (1). dr. hasanuddin, m.si, (2) dr. andi ulfatenri pada, m.pd mother is the closest person to toddlers and plays an important role in creating a good nutritional status for children. the level of mother's knowledge about the general guidelines for balanced nutrition can affect the diet of toddlers which in turn will affect the nutritional status of children. the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about nutrition and nutritional status of children under five. this study used a correlation analytic observation method involving a total sample of 37 respondents. pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a relationship between mother's knowledge of the nutritional status of children under five. although the strength of the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge and the nutritional status of children under five is quite low (0,391), this variable relationship means that the better the level of knowledge of the mother, the better the nutritional status of the children. keywords: mother's knowledge, nutritional status of toddlers
