Name : nurdiana student number : 070610205005l study program : english education thesis title : teaching listening by using audio lingual method trough repetition technique this study which used library research is intended to look at some given theories and/or previous related research findings on the application of audio lingual method in repetition tehnique in teaching listening. listening is very important for students to understand the language of native speaker, the students rarely have listening practice during teaching and learning and they have lack vocabulary. the solve problem, the teacher should apply an appropriate tehnique to improve students' listening comprehension. the study shown that using the audio lingual method trough repetition tehniique is efective in improving the students' listening skill. the result ofthis study can be used as a treatment in teaching listening.
