Abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis serangga yang berkunjung pada beberapa tumbuhan euphorbiaceae serta mengelompokkan peranan serangga berdasarkan referensi di kampus unsyiah, banda aceh. studi ini dilakukan pada bulan november 2019 sampai dengan februari 2020. penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi langsung serangga pada beberapa tumbuhan euphorbiaceae dan pengambilan data faktor fisik lingkungan. proses identifikasi selanjutnya dilakukan di laboratorium serta data disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif menggunakan tabel. hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 10 jenis spesies yang tergolong ke dalam 6 ordo dan 8 famili. serangga yang paling banyak ditemukan pada tumbuhan euphorbiaceae adalah ordo orthoptera yaitu valanga nigricornis, locusta migratoria dan atractomorpha crenulata. tumbuhan euphorbiaceae yang paling banyak ditemukan serangga yaitu pada tumbuhan manihot utilissima pohl. kata kunci: banda aceh, euphorbia hirta l., jatropha curcas l., manihot utilissima pohl., phyllanthus niruri l. abstract the purpose of this study was to describe the types of insects that visited several euphorbiaceae plants and classify the roles of insects based on references in the unsyiah campus, banda aceh this study was conducted from november 2019 to february 2020. this research uses direct observation methods of insects on several euphorbiaceae plants and data collection on physical factors environmental. then the identification process is carried out in the laboratory and the data is presented in a descriptive form disturbing the table. the results obtained in this study were as many as 10 species belonging to 6 orders and 8 families. the most common insects found in euphorbiaceae are valanga nigricornis, locusta migratoria and atractomorpha crenulata from order orthoptera. euphorbiaceae plants which are mostly found by insects are manihot utilissima pohl. keywords: banda aceh, euphorbia hirta l., jatropha curcas l., manihot utilissima pohl., phyllanthus niruri l.
