Abstrak penelitian ini berjudul “strategi humas polsek bendahara dalam menciptakan citra positif dimata masyarakat pasca terjadi kasus tewasnya pelaku dugaan penyalahgunaan narkotika” dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi humas yang dilakukan oleh humas polsek bendahara dalam menciptakan citra positif dimata masyarakat pasca terjadi kasus tewasnya pelaku dugaan penyalahgunaan narkotika. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. analisis dilakukan berdasarkan pada teory exellence. teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara terhadap informan yang berjumlah 2 (dua) orang, yang berasal dari pihak polsek bendahara yaitu kasi humas polsek bendahara bapak aipdaazhar ahmad dan kasium polsek bendahara yaitu bapak aiptu ruslan. penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tujuh (7) strategihumas yang digunakan oleh humas polsek bendahara yaitu mengunjungi keluarga korban secara berkala, pendekatan dengan tokoh masyarakat, penyuluhan kedesa-desa secara bergantian, kegiatan saweu sikulah, pendekatan dengan wartawan berita aceh tamiang, menggunggah dokumentasi kegiatan ke media sosial, serta memberikan santunan dan bantuan kepada masyarakat setempat yang membutuhkan. terdapat beberapa kendala bagi humas polsek bendahara dalam menjalankan strategi-strategi yang telah dirancang yaitukurangnya sarana serta kurangnya personel yang bertugas di bidang atau bagian kehumasan. kata kunci :humas, kepolisian, kasus, polsekbendahara, citra. abstract this study entitled "public relations of bendahara sector police's strategies in creating a positive image in the eyes of the public after the death of the alleged drug abuse perpetrator case" with the aim of finding out the strategies carried out by the bendahara sector police's public relations in creating a positive image in the public after the death of the alleged perpetrator of narcotics abuse. this research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. the analysis was carried out based on the theory of excellence. the data collection technique in this study was done by using interviews with 2 (two) informant, namely the head of public relations of the bendahara sector police, mr. aipdaazhar ahmad and the general section chief public relation of bendahara sector police, mr. aipturuslan. the determination of informant was chosen using a purposive sampling technique. the results showed that there were seven (7) pr strategies used by the public relations of the bendahara sector police, namely visiting victims' families regularly, approaching community leaders, counseling in turns to villages, saweusikula (visiting schools) activities, approaching aceh tamiang news journalists, uploading activities documentation to social media, and providing donations and assistance to local communities in need. there were several obstacles for the public relations of the bendahara sectorpolice in carrying out the strategies that had been designed, namely the lack of facilities and the lack of personnel in charge of the public relations sector or department. key words : publicrelation (pr), police, case, bendahara sector police, image.
