Pengaruh pemberian ekstrak etanol daun kucing-kucingan acalypha indica l. terhadap perubahan histopatologi hati tikus putih yang diinduksi parasetamol abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak etanol daun kucing-kucingan(acalypha indica l.)terhadap perubahan histopatologi hati tikus putih yang diinduksi parasetamol. penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan desember 2011 sampai januari 2012. penelitian ini menggunakan 15 ekor tikus putih jantan yang dibagi kedalam 5 kelompok yaitu tikus putih kelompok kn diberi cmc 1% selama 7 hari berturut-turut dan diikuti dengan pemberian parasetamol dosis 2,5 g/kg bb 8 jam setelah pemberian cmc hari ke 7 (konrol negatif),tikus putih kelompok kp diberi cmc selama 7 hari berturut-turut dan diikuti pemberian aquades 8 jam setelah pemberian cmc 1% hari ke 7 (kontrol positif), tikus putih kelompok iii sampai v diberi ekstrak etanol acalypha indica l. beturut-turut dengan dosis 50 mg/ kg bb; 100 mg/ kg bb; 200 gr/ kg bb; selama 7 hari berturut-turut dan pada hari ke- 7diberi parasetamol dosis 2,5 gr/ kg bb. kemudian diperiksa secara histopatologi. hasil pengamatan terhadap gambaran histopatologi hati tikus dianalisis secara deskriptif. dari hasil pegamatan terhadap preparat hat tikus putih pada gambar hiperemi, hemoragi,degenerasi lemak,udema,nekrosa menurut seiring dengan peningkatan dosis ekstrat etanol daun kucing-kucingan achalypha indica l.yang diberikan.semakin tinggi dosis ekstrak etanol acalypha indica l. yang diberikan semakin besar efek hepatoprotektornya. the effect of ethanolic extract ofacalypha indica l. leaf on istopathological changes ofrat’s liver induced with paracetamol abstract this research aims to determine the effect of acalypha indica l. on histopathological changes of rat’s liver induced with paracetamol. this research was carried ot on desember 2011 until january 2012. fiveteen male mice were used in this experiement wich devided into 5 groups. group i (kn) was fed cmc 1% and aquades, group ii (kp) was fed cmc 1% and paracetamol 2,5 g/ kg bb, group iii, iv, and v were fed with ethanol extract of acalypha indica l. with the dose of 50 mg/kg bb, 100 mg/ kg bb, and 200 mg/ kg bb followed by 2,5 mg/ kg bb. rat’s liver were then examined histopathologically. the result showed that the haemorhage, hyperemi, eudema, degeneration, and necrosis of rat’s liver were decreased gradually along with the higher dose of acalypha administration. the higher the dose of ethanolic extract of acalypha indica l. were given the higher its hepatoprotektor effect.
