Pencitraan ultrasonografi diameter nervus sciatic tikus putih ( rattus novergicus) yang dicederai benda tajam setelah pemberian plasma kaya trombosit abstrak sciatica merupakan gejala nyeri di sepanjang ekstremitas belakang bagian bawah yang mengakibatkan terganggunya fungsi nervus sciatic. penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian plasma kaya trombosit (pkt) terhadap kesembuhan nervus sciatic tikus putih (rattus novergicus) yang dicederai benda tajam melalui pencitraan ultrasonografi. penelitian ini menggunakan 9 ekor tikus jantan dengan bobot badan 200-250 gr dan berusia 3-4 bulan. penelitian ini diawali dengan pembuatan plasma kaya trombosit berasal dari tubuh tikus yang digunakan. tikus putih dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok perlakuan dengan masing - masing kelompok terdiri atas 3 ekor tikus. semua tikus diberi defek nervus sciatic dengan memotong menggunakan pisau bedah untuk selanjutnya dijahit dengan pola simple interrupted menggunakan benang monofilament polypropylene 7.0 usp. kelompok kontrol (k-i) dibiarkan sembuh sendiri, kelompok ii diberikan pkt sebanyak 100µl, dan kelompok iii diberikan pkt sebanyak 50µl. pengamatan diameter nervus sciatic dilakukan pada hari ke 3, 6, 12 dan 24 menggunakan ultrasonografi (sogata® eiffestrase 80, germany). hasil penelitian tidak menunjukkan perbedaan diameter nervus sciatic diantara kelompok dan waktu pengamatan. pemberian pkt tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesembuhan nervus sciatic. kata kunci : sciatica, nervus sciatic, tikus putih, pkt, ultrasonografi ultrasonography imaging of the sciatic nerve diameter of white rat (rattus novergicus) thar sharply injured after giving of platelet-rich plasma abstract sciatica is a symptom of pain along the lower part of the back of limb resulting disruption of the function of the sciatic nerve. this study aims to determine the effect of platelet rich plasma (prp) on healing sciatic nerve rats (rattus novergicus) that were injured with sharp objects through imaging ultrasonography. this study used 9 male rats which weight 200-250 gr and aged 3-4 months. this research was initiated by making platelet-rich plasma that comes from the body of the used rats. the white rats were divided into three treatment groups which were conssting of 3 mice each group. all rats were given sciatic nerve cutting defect by using a scalpel which later stitched with a simple interrupted pattern using monofilament polypropylene 7.0 usp yarn. the control group (ki) was left to heal alone, group ii was given prp as much as 100µl, and group iii was given prp as much as 50µl. observation of the sciatic nerve’s diameter was done on day 3, 6, 12 and 24 using ason ultrasonography (sogata® eiffestrase 80, germany). the results did not show differences in diameter of the sciatic nerve between groups and time of observation. giving prp has no effect on sciatic nerves healing. keywords: sciatica, nervus sciatic, rattus novergicus, pkt, ultrasonografi
