Abstrak komitmen kerja merupakan faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan dalam menghasilkan asuhan keperawatan yang bermutu. tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan komitmen kerja perawat pelaksana dengan pelaksanaan catatan perkembangan pasien terintegrasi (cppt) di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit umum daerah dr. zainoel abidin banda aceh. jenis penelitian ini adalah quantitative:correlation study dengan desain cross sectional study. populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 243 responden, dengan menggunakan rumus lemeshow didapatkan sampel sebanyak 141 responden yang kemudian di proporsikan dan diambil sampel dengan teknik accidental sampling. pengumpulan data dilakukan pada juni 2019 dengan menggunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner organizational commitment questionnaire (ocq) dan lembar observasi catatan perkembangan pasien terintegrasi (cppt). hasil analisa data menggunakan uji chi-square didapatkan hasil bahwa secara umum komitmen kerja memiliki hubungan dengan pelaksanaan cppt (p-value 0,000). secara khusus komitmen afektif (p-value 0,009) dan komitmen berkelanjutan (p-value 0,001) juga memiliki hubungan dengan pelaksanaan cppt. sebaliknya, komitmen normatif (p-value 0,848) tidak memiliki hubungan dengan pelaksanaan cppt. saran kepada pihak institusi rumah sakit agar meningkatkan pelatihan terkait tata cara penulisan cppt dengan baik dan benar. kata kunci : komitmen kerja, catatan perkembangan pasien terintegrasi (cppt), perawat abstract work commitment is a factor that might enhance the quality of nursing service and nursing care. the purpose of this research was to identify the correlation between the nurses’ work commitment and the implementation of the integrated patient progress notes (ippn) in wards of dr. zainoel abidin hospital banda aceh. this correlational study was conducted with a quantitative method and a cross-sectional study approach. there were 243 population members of this research. by using the lemeshow formula, a number of 141 respondents were chosen as the samples by using an accidental sampling technique. the data were collected on june, 2019 by using the organizational commitment questionnaire (ocq) and observation ippn sheets. based on the analysis result of the chi-square test, generally work commitment was correlated to ippn (p-value of 0.000). specifically affective commitment (p-value of 0.009) and continuance commitment (p-value of 0.001) was correlated too. in contrast normative commitment (p-value of 0.848) was not correlated to the ippn. hence, it is suggested that the hospital keep facilitating training programs regarding the correct implementation of the ippn. keywords : work commitment, integrated patient progress notes (ippn), nurses
