Abstract the objective of this research was to determine the effect of averhoa bilimbi l. leaf extract on goldfish eggs hatching rate and to evaluate the optimum concentration of the extract. the research was conducted at marine biology laboratory, marine and fisheries faculty, march 2018. data were analyzed using completely randomized design with seven treatments of concentrations, namely; 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120 ppm. the measured parameters were hatching rate, prevalence, and hatching time of goldfish eggs. the result showed that a. bilimbi l. leaf extract gave the significant effect on hatching rate and prevalence of eggs. it can be conclude that the optimum concentration was obtained at 120 ppm. keywords: a. bilimbi leaf, hatcing rate, goldfish abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan adalah mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun belimbing wuluh (averhoa bilimbi l).terhadap daya tetas telur ikan maskoki serta konsentrasi optimum ekstrak. penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium biologi, fakultas kelautan dan perikanan, universitas syiah kuala pada bulan maret 2018. data dianalisis menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (ral) dengan 7 taraf perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. dengan perlakuan konsentrasi yaitu : 0, 20 ppm, 40 ppm, 60 ppm, 80 ppm, 100 ppm, 120 ppm. sampel yang digunakan adalah telur ikan maskoki yang telah terbuahi dan terinfeksi atau tidak terbuahi, kemudian direndam ekstrak. parameter yang diukur pada penelitian ini yaitu daya tetas (hr%), prevalensi (%), waktu tetas dan kualitas air. hasil uji anova menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun averhoa bilimbi l. berpengaruh nyata (p
