Gambaran histologi dan histomorfometri kelenjar asesoris kelamin sapi aceh abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran histologi dan histomorfometri kelenjar asesoris kelamin sapi aceh. kelenjar asesoris kelamin sapi aceh dikoleksi dari tiga ekor sapi aceh jantan dewasa berumur 3 tahun dengan kondisi sehat, kemudian dipotong di rumah potong hewan kota banda aceh. kelenjar asesoris kelamin terdiri atas kelenjar vesikula seminalis, prostat, dan bulbourethralis yang kemudian diproses hingga menjadi sediaan histologi dengan ketebalan 4 µm dan diwarnai dengan pewarnaan hematoksilin-eosin (he). rata-rata ±sd diameter dan ketebalan epitel kelenjar asesoris kelamin sapi aceh secara berurutan sebagai berikut: vesikula seminalis diameter 156,2±1,9 µm, dengan ketebalan epitel 19,9±1,4 µm, prostat diameter 55,2±0,9 µm, dengan ketebalan epitel 16,8±0,6 µm, dan bulbourethralis diameter 105,0±2,5 µm, dengan ketebalan epitel 33,1±1,3 µm. struktur histologi kelenjar asesoris kelamin sapi aceh memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda. pengukuran terhadap histomorfometri pada kelenjar vesikula seminalis memiliki ukuran diameter lobus yang lebih besar dan kelenjar bulbourethralis memiliki ketebalan lapisan epitel yang lebih tinggi. histology description and histomorphometry of accessory sex glands of aceh cattle abstract the objective of this study was to describe the histology and histomorphometry of the accessory sex glands of aceh cattle. the accessory sex glands were collected from three healthy 3-year-old adult aceh cattle, and then slaughtered in the banda aceh city animal slaughterhouse. the genital accessory glands consist of the seminal vesicle, prostate, and bulbourethralis glands which are then processed to a histologic preparation with a 4 ?m thickness and stained with hematoxylin-eosin (he) staining. the mean ± sd diameter and thickness of the epithelial gland of the aceh cattle genitals were sequentially as follows: seminal vesicles diameter 156.2 ± 1.9 ?m, with epithelial thickness of 19.9 ± 1.4 ?m, prostate diameter 55.2 ± 0 , 9 ?m, with epithelial thickness of 16.8 ± 0.6 ?m, and bulbourethralis diameter 105.0 ± 2.5 ?m, with epithelial thickness of 33.1 ± 1.3 ?m. the histological structure of the aceessory sex glands in aceh cattle is different characteristics. measurements of histomorphometry of seminal vesicle gland have larger diameter lobe size and bulbourethralis gland have higher epithelial layer thickness.
