Blood biochemistry profiles of the aceh female horned cattle and polled cattle abstract the aim of the current study was to evaluate blood biochemistry of the aceh female horned cattle and polled cattle includes protein total, glucose, cholesterol and ureum measured by an yuesen med dan spektrofotometer. blood was collected from 15 aceh females horned cattle and 15 aceh females polled cattle which is on bptu hpt indrapuri, aceh clinically healthy and has an age range of 1.5-2.5 years. data were analyzed using student t test. the average of results of the examination of the aceh female horned cattle and polled cattle in each study group were: protein total 7.54±0.88 g/dl and 6.99±1.76g/dl, glucose 19.15±3.74 mg/dl and 22.33±7.22 mg/dl, cholesterol 78.76±27.50 mg/dl and 64.87±25.46 mg/dl, and ureum 0.61±0.90 mg/dl and 0.82±0.85 mg/dl. blood biochemistry profiles of the aceh female horned cattle is no different from the aceh female polled cattle. profil biokimia darah sapi aceh betina bertanduk dan nirtanduk (kupung) abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil biokimia darah pada sapi aceh betina bertanduk dan nirtanduk (kupung) yang meliputi protein total, glukosa, kolesterol, dan urea dengan menggunakan yuesen med dan spektrophotometer. sampel darah diambil dari 15 ekor sapi aceh betina bertanduk dan 15 ekor sapi aceh betina nirtanduk (kupung) yang terdapat di balai pembibitan ternak unggul dan hijauan pakan ternak (bptu hpt) indrapuri, aceh yang secara klinis sehat dan memiliki umur antara 1,5-2,5 tahun. data dianalisis menggunakan uji t-student. rata-rata hasil pemeriksaan pada sapi aceh betina bertanduk dan nirtanduk (kupung) pada masing-masing kelompok penelitian adalah: protein total darah 7,54 ±0,88 g/dl dan 6,99±1,76 g/dl, glukosa darah 19,15±3,74 mg/dl dan 22,33±7,22 mg/dl, kolesterol darah 78,76±27,50 mg/dl dan 64,87±25,46 mg/dl, dan urea darah 0,61±0,90 mg/dl dan 0,82±0,85 mg/dl. profil biokimia darah sapi aceh betina bertanduk tidak berbeda dengan sapi aceh betina nirtanduk (kupung).
