Masrinur. 2017. pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis diagram roundhouse serta pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan motivasi peserta didik pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup di smp negeri 3 banda aceh. pembimbing i dr. cut nurmaliah, m.pd,. pembimbing ii dr. hasanuddin, m.si abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kelayakan modul berbasis diagram roundhouse, pengaruh modul terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan motivasi belajar serta tanggapan peserta didik pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup di kelas vii di smp negeri 3 banda aceh. pengambilan data dilakukan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pengembangan modul berbasis diagram roundhouse adalah pendekatan kualititatif dan metode yang digunakan research and development (r&d) dengan model hannafin dan peck. pendekatan yang digunakan untuk melihat pengaruh hasil belajar kognitif dan motivasi peserta didik adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode quasi-experimental. penelitian ini dilakukan pada 2 kelas yaitu vii-7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas vii-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi, tes hasil belajar, angket motivasi, dan lembar tanggapan peserta didik. analisis data validasi kelayakan modul oleh para ahli persentase validitas yang diperoleh 84% dengan kriteria validasi valid atau dapat digunakan namun perlu revisi. analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan bantuan spss 20 for windows pada taraf signifikan 0,05. hasil uji t hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa t_hitung>t_(tabel )(4,925 > 2,002) dan motivasi belajar peserta didik t_hitung>t_(tabel )(5,105 > 2,002), dan tanggapan peserta didik dengan perolehan angka persentase dengan kategori sangat baik (92%). kesimpulan penelitian hasil pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis diagram roundhouse layak digunakan dengan nilai rata-rata validasi persentase yang diperoleh 84%, penggunaan modul pembelajaran berbasis diagram roundhouse berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan motivasi peserta didik, tanggapan peserta didik dengan kriteria sangat baik (92%) pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup di kelas eksperimen. kata kunci: pengembangan, modul, diagram roundhouse, hasil kognitif belajar, motivasi. masrinur. 2017. roundhouse diagram based learning module development and its effect on the cognitive outcomes and motivation of students in the material of interction of living things in state junior high school (smpn) 3 banda aceh. supervisor i dr. cut nurmaliah, m.pd,., supervisor ii dr. hasanuddin, m.si. abstract the objective of this study was to find out the feasibility of roundhouse diagram based module development, cognitive learning outcumes, learning, motivation, students’ response to the material of the interaction of living things in grade vii of state junior high school (smpn) 3 banda aceh. data were takem in even semester of academic year 2016/2017. the approach used in the development of roundhouse diagran based learning module was qualitative approach and method used was research and development (r&d) method with hannafin dan peck model. the approach used to see the influence of cognitive learning outcomes and motivation of students was quantitative approach with the quasi-experimental method. this study was conducted on 2 classes that is class vii-7 as the experimental group and class vii-2 as the control group. instruments used in this study were validation sheet, learning outcome test, motivation questionnaire, and student response sheet. from data analysis of module quality validation by experts, it was found that validation percentage obtained was 84% with the criteria of valid or it can be used but with revision. data were analysis by using indepedent sample t-test with the assistance of spss 20 for windows on a significant level of 0.05. the t-test result of student outcomes showed that tcount>ttable (4,925 > 2.002) and student motivation revealed that tcount>ttable (5,105 > 2.002), and responses of learners with a scoring percentage categorized as very good (92%). the conclusion of the development of module-based learning diagram roundhouse fit for use by the average value of the validation percentage obtained by 84%, the use of the learning module-based diagram roundhouse effect on cognitive learning outcomes and learner motivation, feedback learners with very good criteria (92%) on the material interaction of living things in the experimental class. keywords: development, module, roundhouse diagram, cognitive learning outcomes, motivation.
