Abstract this study aims to determine the total number of erythrocyte, haemoglobin concentration, and haematocrit level in female kacang goats of reared semi intensive in koto xi tarusan sub-distric pesisir selatan regency. in the research used 15 female kacang goats with 1-2 years old. parameter in the research was the total number of erytrhocyte, haemoglobin concentration, and haematocrit level. sample were takes in the morning on 07.00-10.00 wib. blood was obtained from the jugular vein of all the animals into sample bottles containing ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (edta) as anticoagulant. the blood examination was done in parasitology laboratorium, balai veteriner bukittinggi, west sumatera with used hematology analyzer (exigoeos vet boule medical, swedia). the data was analyzed using descriptively. based on the examination results, the total number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin concentration, and haematocrit level which were 10,3±3,1 x 106/µl, 8,4±1,8 g/dl, and 22,3±3,5%. the results of this study concluded that the total number of erythrocyte, haemoglobin concentration, and haematocrit value in female kacang goats of reared semi intensive in koto xi tarusan sub-distric pesisir selatan regency, as a normal although close to the limit value of at least.
