Abstrak tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan analisis pola spasial gempa bumi di provinsi aceh dengan cara mendeteksi cluster dan mencari pola spasial secara global dan local selama periode tahun 1921-2014 dengan menggunakan sig (sistem informasi geografis). teknik-teknik yang dipilih antara lain average nearest neighbor, indeks global moran, getis-ord general g, indeks anselin lokal moran, getis-ord gi*, dan kernel density estimamation. masing-masing teknik dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan sig sehingga perhitungan dapat dilakukan dengan efisien dan cepat. hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukkan (1) teknik-teknik tersebut dapat mendeteksi titik-titik kluster pada pola spasial gempa bumi; (2) baik secara global dan lokal menunjukkan gempa bumi berkelompok di daerah barat daya menuju ke bagian utara provinsi aceh; (3) gempa bumi dengan magnitudo lebih besar umumnya terkonsentrasi di kabupaten simeulu, bagian barat kabupaten aceh besar dan barat laut sabang. kata kunci: gempa bumi, kluster, analisis pola spasial, sig, provinsi aceh ? abstract the purpose of this study is to apply the analysis of the spatial patterns of earthquakes in the province of aceh by detecting clusters and look for spatial patterns of global and local during the period 1921-2014 using gis (geographic information system). the techniques selected among others average nearest neighbor, moran global index, getis-ord general g, anselin local moran index, getis-ord gi *, and kernel density estimation. each technique is implemented using gis so that the calculations can be done efficiently and quickly. the results of these studies indicate (1) the techniques can detect clusters of points on the spatial pattern of earthquakes; (2) both global and local shows earthquakes clustered in the southwestern heading to the northern part of the province of aceh; (3) an earthquake with a magnitude greater generally concentrated in the district of simeulu, the western part in the district of aceh besar and northwest of sabang island. keywords: earthquake, clusters, spatial pattern analysis, gis, the province of aceh
