Abstrak rosdiana meliana situmorang, 2014. pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah pada siswa kelas xi sma negeri 11 banda aceh. pembimbing i, dr. muhibbuddin, m. s. pembimbing ii, dr. khairil, m. si. penelitian tentang pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah pada siswa kelas xi sma negeri 11 banda aceh bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa. penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan april sampai dengan bulan mei 2014. metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas xi sma negeri 11 banda aceh dengan dua kelas sampel yaitu kelas ?xi_ia?_(2 )untuk kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 24 siswa dan kelas ?xi_ia?_4 untuk kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 24 siswa. parameter yang diukur adalah hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa. instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis dan lembar observasi. uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji-t (independent sample t-test) dan analisis deskripsi persentase. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa. kata kunci: problem based learning, hasil belajar, sikap ilmiah, dan sistem ekskresi. abstract rosdiana meliana situmorang, 2014. effect of application of problem based learning model in the concept of human excretion system for learning outcomes and scientific attitudes in students class xi at sman 11 banda aceh. advisor i, dr. muhibbuddin, m. s. advisor ii, dr. khairil, m. si. research about effect of application of problem based learning model in the concept of human excretion system for learning outcomes and scientific attitudes in students class xi at sman 11 banda aceh was aimed to determine the increase in the cognitive learning and scientific attitude of students with the application model of problem based learning in the concept of excretion system. this research was conducted from april to may 2014. the method used the experimental method with pretest-posttest design control group design. the population in this research were all students of class xi sman 11 banda aceh with two sample classes, namely class xi_ia2 for the experimental class which consisted of 24 students and class xi_ia4 for the control classes which consisted of 24 students. the parameters measured were the result of students' learning outcomes and scientific attitudes. the instrument used was a pensil and paper test and observation sheet. hypothesis test used was the t-test (independent sample t-test) and analysis of the percentage description. the results showed that the application of problem based learning model affected for students' learning outcomes and scientific attitudes. keywords : problem based learning, learning outcomes, scientific attitudes, and excretion system.
