Tidak semua siswa mengalami peningkatan kualitas menjahit secara signifikan setelah mengikuti pkl. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pkl terhadap kualitas menjahit busana siswa serta mengetahui besarnya kontribusi pkl terhadap kualitas menjahit busana siswa di smk negeri 3 langsa. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal. populasi penelitian berjumlah 107 siswa kelas xii tata busana, dengan sampel sebanyak 91 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket untuk mengukur kedua variabel. analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji regresi linier sederhana, uji parsial (t-test), dan uji koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan ibm spss statistis versi 20. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pkl berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas menjahit busana siswa di smk negeri 3 langsa. pengalaman belajar di dunia industri memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan teknis, meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi, membangun kerja sama tim, serta menumbuhkan sikap profesional melalui penerapan standar operasional prosedur (sop), penggunaan mesin jahit industri, dan pengendalian mutu (quality control). hasil t hitung sebesar 23,538 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. karena t hitung (23,538) > t tabel (1,987) dan nilai signifikansi (0,000) < (0,05) maka hipotesis nol ({\text{h}}_{\text{0}}\text{)} ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif ({\text{h}}_{\text{a}}\text{)} diterima. selain itu, hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa pkl memberikan kontribusi sebesar 86,2% terhadap kualitas menjahit busana siswa, sedangkan 13,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. pelaksanaan pkl berperan penting dalam menjembatani kesenjangan antara pembelajaran di sekolah dan dunia kerja sehingga mampu meningkatkan kualitas menjahit busana serta mempersiapkan lulusan yang kompeten, profesional, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri, dunia usaha, dan dunia kerja (iduka). kata kunci: praktik kerja lapangan (pkl), kualitas menjahit, pendidikan kejuruan.

Not all students experienced a significant improvement in sewing quality after completing their industrial work practice. This study aims to determine the effect of the industrial training progam on students’ radecontributes to these skills at SMK Negeri 3 Langsa. Garment sewing skill and to identify the extent to which the progam contributes to these skills at SMK Negeri 3 Langsa. This study employs a quantitative approach using a causal-associative research design. the study population consisted of 107 12th-grade fashion design students, with a sample of 91 students selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted via a questionnaire to measure both variables. Data analysis involved descriptive analysis, simple linear regression, a t-test, and a coefficient of determination test using IBM SPSS Statistics version 20. The results indicate that the industrial training progam has a positive and significant effect on students’ garment sewing quality at SMK Negeri 3 Langsa. Learning experiences in the industrial setting provide students with opportunities to develop technical skills, improve communication abilities, build teamwork, and foster a professional attitude through the application of standard operating procedures (SOPs), the use of industrial sewing machines, and quality control. The calculated t-value is 23,538, and the significance value is 0,000. Since the calculated t-value (23.538) is greater than the t-table value (1.987) and the significance value (0.000) is less than 0.05, the Null Hypothesis ({\text{H}}_{\text{0}}\text{)} is rejected and the Alternative Hypothesis ({\text{H}}_{\text{a}}\text{)}is accepted. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination test results indicate that the PKL progam contributes 86.2% to the quality of students’ garment sewing,while 13.8% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. This study concludes that the implementation of the PKL plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between school-based learning and the workplace, thereby improving the quality of garment sewing and preparing graduates who are competent, professional, and aligned with the needs of Industry, Business, And Workplace (IDUKA).
