Abstrak raudhatul jannah (2026). penggunaan model pembelajaran conceptual undertsanding procedures untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. skripsi. fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan. universitas syiah kuala. dibawah bimbingan dra. elisa, m.si., dan prof. dr. saminan, m.pd. penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang diterapkan belum mampu mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran conceptual understanding procedures pada materi usaha dan energi. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental jenis one group pretest-postest design. populasi penelitain adalaj seluruh siswa kelas x mas darul hikmah yang berjumlah 29 orang dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. instrumen penelitian berupa tes tertulis pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 soal serta lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian pretest, perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran cups, dan posttest. data dianalisis menggunakan uji n-gain sebesar 0,4127 atau 41,72% yang berada pada kategori sedang. hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh presentase rata-rata sebesar 71,88% dengan kategori baik. dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran cups mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi usaha dan energi. kata kunci: model pembelajaran, conceptual understanding procedures, hasil belajar



Abstract

ABSTRACT Raudhatul Jannah (2026). The Use of Conceptual Understanding Procedures Learning Model to Improve Students Lerning Outcomes. Skripsi. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University. Under direction of Dra. Elisa, M.Si., and Prof. Dr. Saminan, M.Pd. This study was motivated by the low level of students learning outcomes, indicating that the implemented learning process has not been able to optimize learning effectively. This study aims to determine the improvementin students physics learning outcomes through the application of the Conceptual Understanding Procedures learning model on the topic of work and energy. This study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design, specifically the one group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of all grade X student at MAS Darul Hikmah, totaling 29 student, all of awhom were selected as the sample using the total sampling technique. The research instruments included a 10 item multiple choice test and an observation sheet to assess the implementation of the learning process. Data were collected through the administration of a pretest, followed by treatment using the CUPs learning model, and aposttest. The data were analyzed using the N-gain test, which yielded a score of 0.4127 (41.72%), categorized as moderate. The observation result showed that the implementation of learning achieved an average percentage of 71.88%, categorized as good. Thus, the application of the CUPs learning model is able to improve students learning outcomes on the topic of work and energy.
