Produk 2-in-1 room & pillow mist merupakan inovasi parfum fungsional aromaterapi yang dapat digunakan sebagai penyegar ruangan pada siang hari sekaligus aromaterapi penenang pada malam hari. namun, parfum berbasis air yang mengandung minyak atsiri masih menghadapi kendala berupa kelarutan minyak yang rendah, distribusi droplet yang kurang homogen, serta volatilitas aroma yang tinggi sehingga memengaruhi stabilitas dan ketahanan aroma. nanoemulsi dipilih sebagai sistem penghantaran untuk meningkatkan stabilitas formulasi, sedangkan minyak nilam fraksi berat digunakan sebagai fixative agent karena kandungan patchouli alcohol yang tinggi. penelitian ini bertujuan memformulasikan dan mengevaluasi spray 2-in-1 room & pillow mist berbasis nanoemulsi minyak nilam. formulasi dibuat menggunakan metode emulsifikasi spontan dengan variasi konsentrasi minyak nilam fraksi berat sebagai fixative agent, yaitu f0 (0%), f1 (0,25%), f2 (0,5%), dan f3 (0,75%). hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh formula berwarna bening sedikit kekuningan, jernih, dan homogen, dengan ph 6,067–6,200, serta bobot jenis 1,0513–1,0536 g/ml. seluruh formula tetap stabil setelah cycling test tanpa mengalami perubahan organoleptik, homogenitas, maupun ph. evaluasi sillage menunjukkan seluruh formula berada pada skala sedang dengan projection mencapai 3 meter. penambahan minyak nilam fraksi berat meningkatkan ketahanan aroma dari 90 jam pada f0 hingga 117 jam pada f3. nilai hedonik tertinggi diperoleh f3 sebesar 4,60. hasil pengujian psa menunjukkan bahwa formula optimum memiliki ukuran droplet sebesar 10,22 nm dengan nilai indeks polidispersitas sebesar 0,260. berdasarkan hasil penelitian, seluruh formula memenuhi persyaratan mutu parfum cair non-aerosol, dengan f3 (0,75%) merupakan formula optimum karena memiliki tingkat kesukaan panelis tertinggi serta ketahanan aroma paling lama, yaitu 117 jam. kata kunci: room & pillow mist, nanoemulsi, minyak nilam fraksi berat, fixative.

The 2-in-1 room & pillow mist product is an innovative functional aromatherapy fragrance that can be used as a room refresher during the day and a calming aromatherapy at night. However, water-based perfumes containing essential oils still face challenges such as low oil solubility, less homogeneous droplet distribution, and high scent volatility, which affect scent stability and longevity. Nanoemulsion was selected as the delivery system to improve formulation stability, while heavy fraction patchouli oil was used as a fixative due to its high patchouli alcohol content. This study aims to formulate and evaluate a 2-in-1 room & pillow mist spray based on patchouli oil nanoemulsion. The formulations were prepared using the spontaneous emulsification method with variations in the concentration of heavy fraction patchouli oil as a fixative, namely F0 (0%), F1 (0.25%), F2 (0.5%), and F3 (0.75%). The evaluation results showed that all formulas were slightly yellowish clear, transparent, and homogeneous, with a pH of 6.067–6.200 and a specific gravity of 1.0513–1.0536 g/mL. All formulas remained stable after the cycling test without undergoing changes in organoleptic properties, homogeneity, or pH. The sillage evaluation indicated that all formulas were on a medium scale with a projection reaching 3 meters. The addition of heavy fraction patchouli oil increased the scent longevity from 90 hours in F0 to 117 hours in F3. The highest hedonic score was obtained by F3 at 4.60. Particle Size Analyzer (PSA) testing showed that the optimum formula had a particle size of 10,22 nm with a polydispersity index value of 0,260. Based on the results of the study, all formulas met the quality requirements for non-aerosol liquid perfumes, with F3 (0.75%) being the optimum formula due to having the highest panelist preference level and the longest scent longevity of 117 hours.
