Abstrak penelitian struktur komunitas mencakup komposisi, ukuran, dan keanekaragaman spesies. struktur komunitas mengindikasikan bagaimana interaksi spesies dalam suatu lingkungan tertentu. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur komunitas makrozoobentos yang mencakup kepadatan, keanekaragaman, keseragaman, dominansi dan pola sebaran jenis dari makrozoobentos yang ada di muara cut leupung, kecamatan leupung, kabupaten aceh besar. metode yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. hasil penelitian teridentifikasi 6 spesies makrozoobentos yang terbagi dalam 3 kelas dan 2 filum. spesies makrozoobentos yang memiliki kepadatan tertinggi dari total tiga stasiun yaitu spesies faunus ater dari kelas gastropoda dengan jumlah kepadatan sebesar 36 ind/m2. nilai kepadatan makrozoobentos tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun i yaitu di kawasan mangrove dengan rata - rata kepadatan 5,8 ind/m2 . nilai indeks keanekaragaman makrozoobentos tertinggi tercatat pada stasiun iii sebesar 1,8, sedangkan nilai terendah terdapat pada stasiun i dengan nilai 0,8. indeks keseragaman tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun iii dengan nilai 0,72. keseragaman terendah terdapat di stasiun i dengan nilai 0,33. pada stasiun 1 nilai indeks dominansi mendominansi, sedangkan pada stasiun ii dan stasiun iii tidak mendominansi. pola sebaran makrozoobentos di setiap stasiun adalah mengelompok dengan id > 1. parameter perairan umumnya masih berada dalam rentang toleransi fisiologis makrozoobentos. jenis substrat yang ditemukan di setiap stasiun penelitian terdiri dari pasir berlempung lempung berpasir. kata kunci: purposive sampling, indeks, makrozoobentos, ekosistem, dominansi.

ABSTRACT Community structure research includes species composition, size, and diversity. Community structure indicates how species interact in a particular environment. This study aims to analyze the structure of the macrozoobenthos community which includes density, diversity, uniformity, dominance and distribution patterns of macrozoobenthos species in Muara Cut Leupung, Leupung District, Aceh Besar Regency. The method used is the purposive sampling method. The results of the study identified 6 macrozoobenthos species divided into 3 classes and 2 phyla. The macrozoobenthos species with the highest density of the total of the three stations is the Faunus ater species from the Gastropoda class with a density of 36 ind/m2. The highest macrozoobenthos density value was found at station I, namely in the mangrove area with an average density of 5.8 ind/m2. The highest macrozoobenthos diversity index value was recorded at station III at 1.8, while the lowest value was at station I with a value of 0.8. The highest uniformity index was found at station III with a value of 0.72. The lowest uniformity was found at station I, with a value of 0.33. At station 1, the dominance index was dominant, while at stations II and III, it was not. The distribution pattern of macrozoobenthos at each station was clustered with Id > 1. Water parameters generally remained within the physiological tolerance range of macrozoobenthos. The substrate type found at each research station consisted of sandy loamy sand and sandy loam.
