Prarancangan pabrik silica powder ini menggunakan bahan baku sekam padi yang diperoleh dari industri penggilingan padi di jawa timur. pabrik dirancang dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 61.000 ton/tahun, beroperasi selama 330 hari/tahun dan 24 jam/hari. proses pembuatan silica powder dilakukan melalui metode sol-gel. pabrik direncanakan berlokasi di ngoro industrial park (nip), kabupaten mojokerto, jawa timur, dengan mempertimbangkan ketersediaan bahan baku, utilitas, sarana transportasi, serta akses terhadap pasar. bentuk perusahaan yang dipilih adalah perseroan terbatas (pt) dengan struktur organisasi garis dan staf. jumlah tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan untuk mengoperasikan pabrik ini adalah 138 orang. kebutuhan air proses sebesar 57.750,042 kg/jam dipenuhi dari sungai brantas, jawa timur, sedangkan luas lahan yang dibutuhkan untuk pendirian pabrik adalah 24.806 m². hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: 1. fixed capital investment (fci) : rp4.699.468.089.863 2. working capital investment (wci) : rp1.174.867.022.466 3. total capital investment (tci) : rp5.874.335.112.329 4. total production cost (tpc) : rp3.502.895.755.605 5. total income (ti) : rp5.179.308.887.736 6. laba bersih : rp1.307.602.243.063 7. pay out time (pot) : 3,29 tahun 8. break event point (bep) : 47,98% 9. rate of return (ror) : 23,64 % berdasarkan hasil analisis teknis dan ekonomi tersebut, prarancangan pabrik silica powder dari sekam padi dinyatakan layak untuk didirikan dan dapat dilanjutkan ke tahap konstruksi.



Abstract

The preliminary design of a Silica Powder plant utilizes rice husk as the primary raw material, which is supplied by rice milling industries in East Java, Indonesia. The plant is designed with a production capacity of 61,000 tons per year and operates for 330 days per year on a 24-hour continuous basis. The silica powder production process is carried out using the sol-gel method. The proposed plant is planned to be located in Ngoro Industrial Park (NIP), Mojokerto Regency, East Java, considering the availability of raw materials, utilities, transportation facilities, and market accessibility. The company is established as a Limited Liability Company (Perseroan Terbatas/PT) with a line and staff organizational structure. The plant requires a total workforce of 138 employees for its operation. The process water requirement is 57,750.042 kg/h, which is supplied from the Brantas River, East Java, while the total land area required for the plant is 24,806 m². The economic evaluation of the proposed plant yields the following results: 1. Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) : Rp4,699,468,089,863 2. Working Capital Investment (WCI) : Rp1,174,867,022,466 3. Total Capital Investment (TCI) : Rp5,874,335,112,329 4. Total Production Cost (TPC) : Rp3,502,895,755,605 5. Total Income (TI) : Rp5,179,308,887,736 6. Net Profit : Rp1,307,602,243,063 7. Rate of Return (ROR) : 23.64 % Based on the technical and economic evaluations, the proposed Silica Powder plant utilizing rice husk as the raw material is considered technically and economically feasible and is therefore suitable to proceed to the construction stage
