Penggunaan litter berperan penting dalam menjaga kenyamanan kandang dan dapat memengaruhi fcr serta fpd. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan litter ampas serbuk kopi dan litter sekam padi terhadap feed conversion ratio (fcr) dan footpad dermatitis (fpd) pada pemeliharaan ayam broiler.penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (ral) dengan dua perlakuan, yaitu litter ampas serbuk kopi (p1) dan litter sekam padi (p2), masing-masing tiga ulangan. penelitian menggunakan 90 ekor day old chick (doc) yang dipelihara selama 28 hari. pengamatan fcr dilakukan setiap 7 hari (hari ke-1, 7, 14, 21, dan 28), sedangkan fpd diamati pada hari ke-28 melalui skoring visual bantalan kaki. data dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata fcr pada perlakuan litter ampas serbuk kopi (p1) sebesar 1,40, lebih rendah dibandingkan litter sekam padi (p2) sebesar 1,56.tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada hari ke-1 (p>0,05), sedangkan pada hari ke-7 hari ke-28 nilai fcr pada p1 secara nyata lebih rendah dibandingkan p2 (p

Abstract
Litter usage plays a crucial role in maintaining housing comfort and can influence Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and Footpad Dermatitis (FPD). This study aimed to analyze the effects of using spent coffee grounds litter versus rice husk litter on FCR and FPD in broiler chickens. An experimental study was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatments spent coffee grounds litter (P1) and rice husk litter (P2) each with three replicates. A total of 90 day old chicks (DOC) were reared for 28 days. FCR was measured every 7 days (days 1, 7, 14, 21, and 28), while FPD was assessed on day 28 via visual scoring of the footpads. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the average FCR for the spent coffee grounds litter treatment (P1) was 1.40, which was lower than that of the rice husk litter treatment (P2) at 1.56.
