YESI KALENA PUTRI, ANALISIS PENGARUH UMUR TANAMAN DAN VARIETAS KELAPA SAWIT TERHADAP KUANTITAS DAN KUALITAS MINYAK SAWIT. Banda Aceh Fakultas Pertanian Program Studi Teknologi Pangan Dan Hasil Pertanian,2026

Abstract

Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is one of the leading plantation commodities in Indonesia and the primary source of Crude Palm Oil (CPO). The quality of palm oil is influenced by several factors, particularly plant age and variety. This study aimed to analyze the effects of plant age, oil palm variety, and their interaction on the quantity and quality of palm oil. The experiment employed a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two factors: plant age (5–10 years, 10–15 years, and >15 years) and variety (Dura and Tenera), with three replications, resulting in 18 experimental units. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT), and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The results showed that oil extraction rate ranged from 15.08% to 25.33%, moisture content from 0.15% to 0.20%, and free fatty acid (FFA) content from 1.22% to 1.37%. Variety, plant age, and their interaction had a highly significant effect (P
