Kota banda aceh merupakan pusat pemerintahan, ekonomi, sekaligus gerbang utama pariwisata dan kebudayaan di provinsi aceh. peningkatan jumlah wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara yang berkunjung ke banda aceh melahirkan kebutuhan akan fasilitas akomodasi yang berkarakter, salah satunya melalui konsep boutique hotel. perancangan boutique hotel di banda aceh ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan sarana penginapan eksklusif yang memadukan kenyamanan modern dengan keunikan identitas lokal. tema arsitektur kontemporer dipilih sebagai pendekatan utama dalam merespons konteks lanskap kota terkini. pendekatan ini mengekspresikan nilai-nilai kebaruan melalui eksplorasi bentuk yang dinamis, penggunaan material modern, serta efisiensi energi, tanpa mengabaikan elemen kebudayaan dan iklim tropis banda aceh. metode perancangan yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder, analisis tapak, analisis fungsi, serta konsep desain. hasil dari perancangan ini mencakup transformasi bentuk bangunan yang responsif terhadap iklim tropis, integrasi material lokal yang dikemas secara modern, serta pengolahan ruang dalam (interior) dan ruang luar (eksterior) yang memberikan pengalaman spasial yang unik dan personal bagi para tamu. diharapkan perancangan boutique hotel ini tidak hanya menjadi pilihan fasilitas akomodasi yang bernilai estetika tinggi, tetapi juga menjadi landmark baru yang memperkaya wajah arsitektur kota banda aceh secara berkelanjutan. kata kunci: boutique hotel, banda aceh, arsitektur kontemporer, akomodasi wisata.

Banda Aceh City serves as the center of government and economy, as well as the main gateway for tourism and culture in Aceh Province. The increasing number of domestic and international tourists visiting Banda Aceh has generated a demand for characterful accommodation facilities, one of which is realized through the boutique hotel concept. The design of this Boutique Hotel in Banda Aceh aims to provide exclusive lodging that blends modern comfort with the uniqueness of local identity. A contemporary architectural theme was selected as the primary approach in responding to the current urban landscape context. This approach expresses values of novelty through the exploration of dynamic forms, the use of modern materials, and energy efficiency, without disregarding cultural elements and Banda Aceh’s tropical climate. The design method includes primary and secondary data collection, site analysis, functional analysis, and design concepts. The final outcome features a building form transformation that is responsive to the tropical climate, the integration of locally sourced materials presented in a modern context, and spatial design—both interior and exterior—that offers a unique and personalized experience for guests. It is expected that this boutique hotel design will not only serve as an aesthetically refined accommodation facility, but also become a new landmark that sustainably enriches the architectural landscape of Banda Aceh.
