Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang estimasi stok karbon pada ekosistem mangrove silvofishery di gampong lamga, aceh besar, pada bulan februari 2026. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung simpanan karbon biomassa vegetasi mangrove dan karbon organik tanah pada jenis avicennia marina dan avicennia alba. penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan 5 stasiun pengamatan. pengambilan data dilakukan secara non-destruktif menggunakan metode transek kuadrat dan perhitungan biomassa menggunakan persamaan alometrik. pengukuran karbon tanah dilakukan menggunakan metode loss on ignition (loi) dan penghitungan bulk density. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total biomassa tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 1 sebesar 22,17 kg, dan kandungan karbon biomassa tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun 5 dengan nilai sebesar 0,61 ton/ha, sementara itu stok karbon organik tanah tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun 2 sebesar 21,38 ton/ha. secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa estimasi stok karbon organik tanah di lokasi penelitian memiliki nilai yang jauh lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan stok karbon pada biomassa vegetasinya. oleh karena itu, pengukuran biomassa vegetasi dan karbon organik tanah perlu dilakukan secara terpadu untuk memperoleh estimasi cadangan karbon yang lebih akurat pada ekosistem mangrove silvofishery. kata kunci: biomassa mangrove, stok karbon, karbon organik tanah, silvofishery, avicennia marina, avicennia alba.



Abstract

This study was conducted to estimate carbon stocks in the silvofishery mangrove ecosystem of Gampong Lamga, Aceh Besar, in February 2026. The objective of this research was to determine carbon storage in mangrove vegetation biomass and soil organic carbon of Avicennia marina and Avicennia alba. The study employed a purposive sampling method with five observation stations. Data collection was carried out using a non-destructive approach through the quadrat transect method, while biomass was estimated using allometric equations. Soil carbon measurements were conducted using the Loss on Ignition (LOI) method and bulk density analysis. The results showed that the highest total biomass was recorded at station 1, reaching 22,17 kg. The highest biomass carbon stock was found at station 5, with a value of 0,61 tons/ha. Meanwhile, the highest soil organic carbon stock was observed at station 2, amounting to 21,38 tons/ha. Overall, the results indicate that soil organic carbon stocks in the study area were considerably higher than carbon stocks stored in mangrove vegetation biomass. Therefore, integrated measurements of vegetation biomass and soil organic carbon are necessary to obtain more accurate estimates of carbon stocks in silvofishery mangrove ecosystems.
