Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fungi mikoriza arbuskula (fma) terhadap pertumbuhan, hasil, dan kolonisasi akar pada berbagai varietas tomat. penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan dan laboratorium hortikultura fakultas pertanian universitas syiah kuala, banda aceh, pada november 2024–januari 2025. penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (rak) pola faktorial 3 × 2 dengan 3 ulangan sehingga diperoleh 18 satuan percobaan dan 72 tanaman. faktor yang diteliti terdiri atas varietas tomat (servo, marta, dan tora ipb) serta dosis mikoriza (0 dan 10 g per tanaman). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman, dan potensi hasil, serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15, 30, dan 45 hst.



Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on growth, yield, and root colonization in different tomato varieties. The research was conducted at the Experimental Farm and Horticulture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, from November 2024 to January 2025. The study used a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with a 3 × 2 pattern and three replications, resulting in 18 experimental units and 72 plants. The factors tested consisted of tomato varieties (Servo, Marta, and Tora IPB) and mycorrhizal doses (0 and 10 g plant⁻¹). The results showed that variety treatment had a highly significant effect on the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, and yield potential, and a significant effect on plant height at 15, 30, and 45 DAT. The Servo variety exhibited the highest plant growth. Mycorrhizal treatment had a highly significant effect on fruit weight per plant, yield potential, and percentage of mycorrhizal root colonization, and a significant effect on flowering time. Application of mycorrhiza at 10 g plant⁻¹ accelerated flowering and resulted in the highest root colonization percentage. The interaction between variety and mycorrhiza had a highly significant effect on fruit weight per plant and yield potential, and a significant effect on the number of fruits per plant. The combination of Tora IPB variety and 10 g plant⁻¹ mycorrhiza produced the highest fruit weight per plant and yield potential.
