Epilepsi merupakan gangguan neurologis kronis yang umum terjadi pada anak usia sekolah dan memerlukan respon tepat dari guru demi keselamatan siswa. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran sikap guru sekolah dasar terhadap epilepsi di sd it cendekia darussalam. metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling (46 responden). instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah public attitudes toward epilepsy (pate). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru memiliki sikap positif terhadap epilepsi (73,9%), sedangkan 26,1% lainnya memiliki sikap netral, dan tidak ditemukan responden dengan sikap negatif. berdasarkan karakteristik responden, sikap positif secara deskriptif lebih banyak ditemukan pada guru perempuan, kelompok usia 36–45 tahun, dan guru dengan masa kerja lebih dari 6 tahun. kesimpulannya, guru di sd it cendekia darussalam secara umum memiliki sikap positif terhadap penyandang epilepsi.

Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder commonly found among school-age children, requiring an appropriate response from teachers to ensure student safety. This study aimed to describe the attitudes of elementary school teachers toward epilepsy at SD IT Cendekia Darussalam. A descriptive research design was employed using a total sampling method (46 respondents). The instrument used was the Public Attitudes Toward Epilepsy (PATE) questionnaire. The results showed that the majority of teachers held a positive attitude toward epilepsy (73.9%), while 26.1% held a neutral attitude; no respondents exhibited a negative attitude. Regarding respondent characteristics, positive attitudes were descriptively more prevalent among female teachers, those in the 36–45 age group, and teachers with more than six years of service. In conclusion, teachers at SD IT Cendekia Darussalam generally demonstrate a positive attitude toward individuals with epilepsy.
