Ertumbuhan penduduk dan meningkatnya aktivitas perdagangan di kota banda aceh mendorong kebutuhan akan shopping mall yang lebih representatif. keterbatasan pusat perbelanjaan modern serta tingginya konsumsi energi pada bangunan komersial menjadi dasar penerapan tema green architecture untuk menciptakan bangunan yang hemat energi, ramah lingkungan, dan nyaman bagi pengguna. metode perancangan meliputi studi literatur, studi preseden, serta analisis tapak, ruang, sirkulasi, struktur, dan utilitas. lokasi perancangan berada di jalan tentara pelajar, merduati, banda aceh. konsep green architecture diterapkan melalui pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami, kaca low-e, secondary skin, green roof, rainwater harvesting, lampu led, panel surya, serta sistem utilitas yang efisien. hasil perancangan menghasilkan shopping mall yang berfungsi sebagai pusat perdagangan, rekreasi, dan interaksi sosial sekaligus mendukung aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat. penerapan green architecture diharapkan dapat mengurangi konsumsi energi dan air, meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna, serta mendukung pembangunan kota banda aceh yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract
Population growth and increasing commercial activity in Banda Aceh have driven the need for a more representative shopping mall. The limited availability of modern shopping centers and the high energy consumption of commercial buildings have led to the application of the Green Architecture theme to create a building that is energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and comfortable for users. The design method included literature studies, precedent studies, and analysis of the site, space, circulation, structure, and utilities. The design location is on Jalan Tentara Pelajar, Merduati, Banda Aceh. The Green Architecture concept was implemented through the use of natural lighting, Low-E glass, a secondary skin, a green roof, rainwater harvesting, LED lighting, solar panels, and an efficient utility system. The resulting design results in a shopping mall that functions as a center for commerce, recreation, and social interaction while supporting the community's economic activities. The application of Green Architecture is expected to reduce energy and water consumption, increase user comfort, and support the sustainable development of Banda Aceh.
